These computers are by no means "powerhouses", but I have noticed that there is a distracting amount of lag time when I remote in to those select computers.

Good product that could use a few improvements
Pros:
Unattended/Remote access is very easy to use. Installing the agent on machines is easy and can also be automated.
Cons:
Some admin functions such as maintaining users/roles/security permissions are not very intuitive, and can be hard to figure out at first.
10/10 Remote Access Software!
Comments: I use this software to manage thousands of computers/servers everyday and it is made a breeze with ConnectWise ScreenConnect. The backstage features allow me to set off commands and install software without the user being stopped from working and I can also send them messages if required. A lot of the time, there are network dropouts and this software makes it easy to check out if this has happened on a surface level, so also very handy!
Pros:
Easy to navigate access to machines and the layout is customisable dependent on your criteria. For my case it is whether consent is required or not, and this makes it easy to find certain companies. The backstage mode is critical to our work, as it allows us to implement updates and changes without disturbing users. The chat system also reduces call time as I can chat about issues and easily multi-task.
Cons:
No complaints, this system is wonderful.
It is simple to access the server with ConnectWise remotely.
Comments: Mainly what we are dedicated to is structuring programmatic projects of our computer and hardware services, it is essential in this sense that when a problem arises at any time we can be 100% notified with notifications to repair the process of any program that we have in operation. on the server. This program has undoubtedly helped us a lot, we don't need to go back to work, with a home computer it's enough to be able to check the server, which is as if we were doing it live at work.
Pros:
Initially, it is very easy to be able to connect everything with connect wise, especially for what we use it for, which is the testing server. Reciprocally, it generates more learning information where we move very well. Many times I leave the office and I receive messages of serious concerns about server errors where technicians are waiting for my help and direction. Thanks to the program, I can easily generate this by connecting from my home and everything has gone great.
Cons:
There are some applications that are not compatible and tools that conectwise does not have at this time, other programs do.According to this, currently it will not be an impediment to change it, but in the future it may possibly be.
Screen connect review
Comments: Overall I have been pleased with the use of screen connect. Its a great mostly reliable tool and would love to use it in the future and recommend its use.
Pros:
How easy it is to setup and deploy and also how easy it is to remote into machines and all the controls you have.
Cons:
Sometimes the connections can drop or the deployment wont work for what ever reason.
A Great and Secure Remote Desktop Solution For Business
Pros:
When it comes to remote desktop access and control, ConnectWise ScreenConnect offers great features. This product ensures secure connections and easy to use controls. It makes working remotely easy.
Cons:
So far no issues with ConnectWise ScreenConnect. It has always delivered.
ScreenConnect is Simple to use!
Comments: As a company, we're happy to use ScreenConnect for our remote management solution.
Pros:
It is easy to search for endpoints, add endpoints, and connecting to endpoints is as simple as a click, or adding one time support sessions.
Cons:
Sometimes it's difficult to make groups of endpoints due to the advanced filtering options
Connectwise tool for managing servers and workstations
Comments: Very good tool to have all devices centralized to avoid connecting each time to different vpn, and to go directly to each business and different countries.
Pros:
The best thing is that you have all servers and workstation consoles centralized, if you have different business units or supporting other countries, you can have a better approach using Connectwise
Cons:
The only thing I have noticed is just that for a couple of servers, sometimes the CW agent needs to be re-installed since it reports as disconnected.
ScreenConnect is Good, But Could be Better
Comments: Very good overall and would recommend. Their partnership with BrightGauge needs lots of improvement from the reporting side, but ScreenConnect itself has been very good.
Pros:
It's great for remote access into another users computer, even if just one of your own. Support is good and there is no downtime.
Cons:
Features like "Screen Blanking" can be very clunky. Often when I set the remote screen to be blanked out, I will have a session go to sleep, and when I get back on the screen blank setting has been disabled. This is highly frustrating when needin privacy in a remote setting.

Easy Way To Connect
Pros:
Easy of use and fast interface Support different operating system such Windows and OS
Cons:
There were so many updates. So, it needed to be updated frequently by IT.
ConnectWise is seamless!
Pros:
Easy to log on and allow access. Very quick!
Cons:
I cannot say there was anything we didn't like.
ScreenConnect is an excellent product
Pros:
Easy to manage and use for remote support and remote control
Cons:
File transfer is slow. It works, but the speed is very slow.
A reliable remote solution
Comments: Overall, a great and easy solution which is essential to our day to day, providing IT support
Pros:
The ability to have an easy rollout, ease of use for engineers and end users (as a replacement for RDP).
Cons:
There are instances where it can take a while for the device to show as online before you can reconnect
Alternatives Considered:
Good Remote Support Platform
Comments: I'm very happy with this product, except for the price but it's not too terrible. I'm very used to free software but they just didn't have the features like ScreenConnect, especially being able to connect to any machine and manage it if it's connected to network anywhere.
Pros:
I signed my company up for the Standard Package since it's wasn't critical that we had all of the features but we needed unlimited unattended access agents. This gives us the ability to see what machines are connected to internet or not and shows you the clients private and public IP addresses. This feature alone has helped me with user issues without even connecting to them. The remote command line without connecting to the machine is very nice, for simple commands. Having the ability to set information about the machine connecting to divide them up into companies, device type and department is very handy to have. The ability to give users access on only one company and set specific permissions on that company is a great feature. There are several great features that are included on the standard package but if the Premium package was cheaper, we would probably go with that one due to the reporting features in it. One thing that isn't a paid for option but is very nice it the option to connect to iOS or Android devices, not as an access device where you have access all the time but under the support option.
Cons:
The platform is pretty solid but the user management is not as easy to spot the first time around. It would be nice if the OTP was easier to add for the Google Authenticator. Most give you a QR-Code to add the OTP but it works once you get it setup.

ConnectWise Control Review from Experience
Comments: I have utilized ConnectWise Control for 10 years at two different companies. This product has helped keep me and my teams efficient and productive while allowing for wizard-level support all over the world. I will not go without this software after experiencing it. I purchased this on my own to utilize prior to my current company adopting it company-wide.
Pros:
The ease of connecting to a system. There are no complex login processes and the product functions extremely well. The remote experience is good enough to work all week through and the reliability of the sessions is enough that you don't need to have backup methods for remote access.
Cons:
I don't have too many complaints because I have utilized and continue to utilize various other platforms in client environments that have worse functionality. If I had to pick one thing it would be that on occasion I have experienced a few instances where a PC without a monitor connected gives me a black screen when connecting to it. I do not believe that this issue is specific to Connectwise due to the graphics card and how it processes the GUI. The biggest challenge in recommending remote access software to a client is that there is always the concern about getting compromised. The on-premise version of this software allows us to recommend it to any client with a lower level of concern.
ConnectWise works
Comments: Overall ConnectWise screen connect works for the simple remote sessions.
Pros:
The simplicity of this product makes it easier for the individuals who don't like or are intimidated by technology.
Cons:
Working with dual monitors is not as user friendly and it is a problem for individuals who are versed in technology.
Cant user for Days on end due to their broken 2FA
Comments: Avoid Avoid Avoid represents a massive corporate risk
Pros:
Not their support its almost non existant
Cons:
Reliability, the broken 2FA issue is a massive deal breaker, essentially bricking the application for days on end, and support takes days to resolve.
ConnectWise ScreenConnect
Pros:
It makes it easy to connect to an end user for remote support.
Cons:
It would be nicer if you didn't have to log into website to connect.
ConnectWise works great for us.
Pros:
Ease of use and setup. It works for what we need it to do, no issues for daily remote work.
Cons:
Sometimes when users are not on a high speed connection it can be choppy, but most times works fine.
Good product to use
Comments: Overall it works pretty well.
Pros:
Makes things easier in working with co-workers or other businesses
Cons:
Sometimes its a little finicky and I have trouble connecting the first time. It also asks me to verify my identity too often.
IT Support FROM IT People
Comments: So far I have a had a very good experience with CW Control and the company in general.
Pros:
ConnectWise is a feature-rich product built by IT people FOR IT people.
Cons:
Basic support is good but any feature problems or requests have to "go to engineering" and can take months to years to get a resolution.

Increases connectivity and problems
Pros:
ConnectWise Control is useful software, It helps to guide other people, and it resolves many problems easily which looks very giant, It smooths the process of working and removes barriers to other cities and offices. It has uncountable benefits I really love to use it, Another app has bug issues but it has nothing.
Cons:
ConnectWise Control has proper screen sharing and access tools, It increases the quality by giving its updates and customer support, The interface is clear and significant to understand, The one thing I just want is some free tools which are accessible.
Good remote support software
Pros:
Very easy to install on client computers.
Cons:
The licensing it a bit overly complicated.
Geat product very reliable and good value
Comments: I think the previous box covered it as best as I can. you spend a lot on advertising your new and other products but it is impossible to buy them when the sales people ignore you even when your a current customer. I have had so many little issues that should have never happened and not been treated very well and fixing them only caused more problems that cost me and caused major problems for my company and our ability to support our customers. While I like the product I am very disappointed with the back office staff and how issues are handled and customers are ignored even whey they are begging for help. I left another vendor to come here when I had an amazing sales rep held me and get my onboarding taken care of and help me in every step of they way learn the basic of the product. She even tried 2 times to get me in touch with other departments for MSP products I needed with no luck before she left the company. I Am about to sign up with PCmatic later this week as I need a MSP product and wish it could have been with Connnectwise . I am not sure if I will stay wit the product I had one heck of a ride in my year and a half or so and issues that should have never happened and when they did should have never been handled the way they did that crippled my company. I apologize if my review may upset anyone but you did ask for it I am taking the time to be honest and tell you my true experience It is important to know the truth on how the customer feels. I hope it helps you.
Pros:
Very reliable, The ability to preview desktops is a huge plus and adding 3rd party plug ins is wonderful.
Cons:
Wish it had a roll out tool for installing on multiple computers. The platform does go down from time to time and you can self fix it by moving your system to a different location yourself. There are issues with the license counter and many times it says I am out of licenses and we are unable to use the product when we still have license available not being used. Two support requests tickets have been sent and they never respond. Support is a hit and miss. Email support and they will not reply or respond so it is useless , Chat support is hit or miss depending on who you get but if you get the right person it is great. Sales is very disappointing I have been using the product for over a year and so many times I tried to contact sales by email and phone about buying other products the sales reps will never call you back or respond so I gave up and went with another vendor. The sales rep I was working with that was amazing when I started with the Connectwise no longer works there so I am just left floating out here. When I had issues with my license it was a nightmare and ended up costing me a bunch of money to fix I have to repay for my subscription I was already paid for. I gave up trying to resolve the issue paying for something that I already paid because my company was down I needed the product working so we can support our customers. I still have a balance on my account due that I do not owe from that nightmare. Its a good product but there are serious back office issues.

A great solution for a one-man-shop
Comments: It just works. It's super-ridiculously reliable. By that I mean, I've used MANY other remote support software solutions over the years, and while this one might not have the perfect clarity of an upscaled resolution, it has yet to fail me on a connection. I deploy them via MSI, occasionally update them from the admin interface, and ... thats it! It just works!
Pros:
Compatibility, deployment (MSI package), and customization (can configure the server with addons, that in turn help you configure the client much faster than other solutions I've tried). AUTOMATIC NAME UPDATING. This was HUGE for me! This was the main reason I moved away from GoToAssist. I worked with GoToAssist support multiple times, but they couldn't help me get anything in place to do this. Essentially, if a PC name changed, the GoToAssist Server kept it's name listed as the "old name" - this lead to tremendous amounts of confusion for me and made it almost impossible to know which computers needed updating and which were already the correct name, simply connecting to support a user was an issue after just a few computer moves. Deploying software to 50-some machines might not be as large a task as other companies out there with 500+ machines, but as a one man shop, keeping those machines updated to ensure versions match, and names of the PC's are kept intact when users retire and new folks come on board is a HUGE time saver and stress relief after swapping to ConnectWise Control.
Cons:
Poor screen scaling (when compared to a competitor like TeamViewer), slow multi-monitor (becomes a sluggish because it seems to want to stream all screens at once, even if only one is selected), and ambiguous information as to whether another third party who also uses the software has left theirs installed / potentially could cause exploitation and already causes confusion. Scaling: If I connect to a machine with no other users on it, I believe I should have the option (via the "join w/options" link, perhaps) to change the connection to match my resolution (similar to how Microsoft's own Remote Desktop or TeamViewer do) Additionally, even if it's unable to match my connecting resolution, If the built-in scaling were better (I.E. - if there was a feature that introduced some good hardware accelerated anti-aliasing), the daily use of this software would be greatly improved. Multi-Monitor Sluggish: I've seen this with some other remote connection software - even the more legacy VNC protocol suffers from it, but it is avoidable because not all have this issue. I think the software needs to only stream updates to the primary selected monitor - or at least have an option to enable that, because delays become a huge problem when navigating things like complex databases or even simple excel sheets when there's a full-second delay. This does not happen on single monitor connections right now, it becomes noticable on dual-monitor, and on triple monitor it's very obvious.
Honest Review
Comments: I have no complaints. Every time I have used ConnectWise it is for another IT issue and no matter what that IT issue is ConnectWise only ever helps. I have never had a problem with the software or use of ConnectWise and am thankful for the accessibility it allows me to have.
Pros:
I really like how both people have control of the session. It makes it really easy to work together. I used ConnectWise with my managed IT support company and without it we would not get nearly as much accomplished.
Cons:
It defeats the purpose of giving control of your computer, but not being able to work simultaneously. I have dual monitors so I wish there was a way to split the control of the mouse/ computer.
