It is simple to access the server with ConnectWise remotely.

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: Mainly what we are dedicated to is structuring programmatic projects of our computer and hardware services, it is essential in this sense that when a problem arises at any time we can be 100% notified with notifications to repair the process of any program that we have in operation. on the server. This program has undoubtedly helped us a lot, we don't need to go back to work, with a home computer it's enough to be able to check the server, which is as if we were doing it live at work.

Pros:

Initially, it is very easy to be able to connect everything with connect wise, especially for what we use it for, which is the testing server. Reciprocally, it generates more learning information where we move very well. Many times I leave the office and I receive messages of serious concerns about server errors where technicians are waiting for my help and direction. Thanks to the program, I can easily generate this by connecting from my home and everything has gone great.

Cons:

There are some applications that are not compatible and tools that conectwise does not have at this time, other programs do.According to this, currently it will not be an impediment to change it, but in the future it may possibly be.

Connectwise Control - An amazing remote app

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Overall, ConnectWise Control has been a popular and reliable remote desktop software that has provided many useful features for our engineering team. Engineers have found it easy to use, and appreciate the ability to customize the software to meet their specific needs.

Pros:

Many users have found the software intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to provide remote support to clients. Also, ConnectWise Control is known for its strong security features, including two-factor authentication, session recording, and permission-based access. This helps for external and internal security requirements.

Best remote access host I've used.

5.0 last year

Comments: SC has let us move quickly on absorbing new clients into our remote access base and quickly assist people who just need a hop-on to show us an issue. Overall I recommend it highly.

Pros:

Deploying is easy, customization is pretty simple, and the app's functionality is the best compared to every other app I've used (anydesk, teamviewer, splashtop, vnc solutions)

Cons:

There's some features that just dont exist and they expect the community to develop plugins for those instead of doing it themselves. Things such as "prevent user from initiating chat when host is not connected" just isn't possible and evey though there's page after page of requests for it they don't do it for whatever reason.

Easy Access for remote support

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: ConnectWise Control has helped us massively supporting users remotely, especially during the Covid pandemic when all users where working from home and we were required to provide support over the phone and whilst maintaining distancing.

Pros:

ConnectWise Control is a seamless tool used for remote support. It allows IT support to connect to an end user device/Server without having to log the user or session out. meaning a user can report an issue and support personell can be on supporting in no time. There are also great file and clipboard sharing features. Along with unattended access to PowerShell and command line which can be useful for troubleshooting without impacting the users day.

Cons:

ConnectWise Control is a brilliant tool for remote support, the issue I have is it can become a security risk given users machines can be accessed and remotely managed with no acceptance of session from the end user.
