Dualmon makes it all so simple

5.0 6 years ago

Pros:

I access my computers as well as friends and family from all over the world. I get a bundle package that is economical per computer and allows me to group them based on the different groups I am helping.

Cons:

If they were going to improve it, I would like a way to stay connected for a set amount of time and a set amount of time since last activity.

Very pleased with Dualmon

5.0 11 months ago

Comments: We use Dualmon to support pc's in multiple locations at our company. It makes for fast, easy connections. It allows us to troubleshoot issues as well as run remote processes with ease as if we were there. It's also great for remotely helping senior relatives with their pc problems without flying across the country just to get them back on FB! :o)

Pros:

We support around 50 computers and Dualmon does what it's supposed to do. It connects quickly, allows transfers of files easily and is relatively simple to install. Their pricing is fair and they don't jack the rates every year. I also like that they inform you of an upcoming renewal. Some companies just slam your credit card and don't let you know its time. Customer service is responsive.

Cons:

After having used similar software in the past, I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about Dualmon.

Dualmon vs LogMeIn

3.0 4 years ago

Pros:

The cost of the software is hard to beat.

Cons:

The ability to use dual monitors on separate screens makes this a deal killer for us to use as an every day option. It also runs considerably slower than its more expensive competitors

Dualmon Best Software for Remote Assistance

5.0 last year

Comments: Excellent. The few times I have had an issue, customer service has resolved it within a few hours.

Pros:

It is very easy to setup and use. You have the choice of a permanent connection or as needed. Very flexible.

Cons:

Hate the screen after you connected asking if the user wants to let you see their screen. Duh, spent all this time setting up to be asked a silly queston.

Customer support by remote access

5.0 last year

Comments: We repair and upgrade computers, and use Dualmon to configure customer machines remotely. Doing this saves engineer service time and resources for home visits.

Pros:

Accessing our office computers remotely is easy to set up and works really well. The connection is solid and we are able to work as if in the office. Once connected, servicing and fixing customer computers by remote access is easy. We don't have any evident buffering, and we are able to reboot the accessed computer and re-establish the connection afterwards. The software even allows switching between dual remote monitors, which we weren't able to do using other software previously. The web portal is great and comprehensive.

Cons:

Setting up a one-time connection to a customer does seem to be a little convoluted, but having said that the software does advise you where the customer is in the process. I'm not sure how this could be improved, to be fair.

Our go-to tool for supporting unfamiliar devices.

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: Dualmon has been incredibly reliable once setup and is usually very painless to get a remote session started.

Pros:

It has a full suite of features on both Windows & MacOS end-user devices with minimal latency.

Cons:

When setting up a remote session to a user's MacBook, they have to manually set the permissions for us to view their screen, and to interact with it, within their MacBook settings.

Remote support / access

5.0 last year

Comments: I have a small computer support company, Dualmon has been a great help to me and my clients. I have several sites setup for unattended access and the others I connect on demand as needed. I've used Dualmon for a few years and it works very well for me. I've recommended it to a few clients and they have been pleased.

Pros:

Very easy to use for unattended or on demand remote access.

Cons:

For me I can't think of any cons, it's worked every time I've needed it. It would be nice if I could tell if an unattended compute was in use.

A Great Value Product That Gets The Job Done

5.0 10 months ago

Pros:

I work with many clients that are not technology proficient. Dualmon is simple enough for most to setup that I don't fear asking them to install it for use. It is fairly fast for being on over-the-web product and much faster than others I've tried. The full set of features is much appreciated when someone is having a real thorny issue.

Cons:

It could be a little bit easier to install/remove for one-off jobs, but it's not a huge barrier to use.

Best value for remote support

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: I couldn't ask for more. The service does everything as advertised.

Pros:

The remote assistance portion of the software is the most valuable. The amount of hours it saves me every year in travel expenses and time easily pays for the subscription many times over.

Cons:

There really isn't much that I don't like about the software. The only time I ever had an issue was when I tried using a Mac to remote into systems but most of those issues have been resolved.

dualmon is what we had been looking for

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Helping computer users remotely, and checking running daily routines works great.

Pros:

Feature of showing which computer is online and to transfer files. Different users can be set up to have access to different computers, and we use the groups for different location computers. The search feature works so well as it searches both the name of the computer and the additional description.

Cons:

I wish there was a feature where dual mon would show how long a computer has been inactive for those computers that are set up unattended, this would save so much time as of now we have to login in to see if the computer is not being used so we can gain access.

Remote support

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: I live in a remote area with systems and customers many miles away. Many issues can be taken care of by simply loggin in and being able to look at the system. Most of my systems are streaming audio visual systems, most controlled by software of some type.

Pros:

Easy integration and simple for the remote customer to implement

Cons:

I have no real issues with any items in Dual Mon

Review of Dualman

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: The fact that I don't have to go to clients offices and they don't have to stop business to come to mine, saves a lot of time and more efficient work. When I am away from the office and the girls need trouble shooting, I can remote in and fix it, especially when I am out of state. I can also print to my computer from a client's office through Dualmon.

Pros:

THE PRICE IS GREAT!! I love the fact that I can have access to all of my computers with individual passwords and just one main log in to reach them. It appears to not have a lag when working on them.

Cons:

I can't think of anything negative to say about Dualmon. It has improved so much over the years. Especially adding the ability to print from another office to mine. I haven't tried it, but can files be transferred somehow?

Very good product for our purposes

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: We use it to support our customers with issues or questions about our software (www.phspeed.com)

Pros:

We are not the most sophisticated users of the product, but we use it to help our customers that have issues installing our software or to show bugs or requests. It is easy to use and does its job. I like how you can brand the login page so that users can trust it. And because we do not need to use the remote desktop often, other solutions are way too expensive.

Cons:

So far, no negative points. Perhaps it is already possible, but using chat or being able to talk using the same connection would be great.
