Pros:

I really love that I can set up to send reminders to my customers to leave a review. Also to offer a discount if they leave a review AND share to social media.

Cons:

YOTPO can be a little bit intimidating to dive into, but with a bit of effort you will be off and running.

Comments: Very good customer service too.

Pros:

I love the text messaging feature to notify my customers when I'm going live. I also use Yotpo to collect reviews and Yotpo makes it easy with a click of a button to directly post the review on the product.

Cons:

I would love to see more free features like personalized emails for review collection.

Avoid! Their "Premium" is a Dumpster Fire.

Pros:

I did not like my experience with them. They overcharge and far underdeliver. They are all about sales.

Cons:

YOTPO was a complete disappointment and is not recommended. The birthday discount feature is a chaotic mess, causing issues with pricing, dates, and customer service. Support tickets lack basic functionality, the support portal is a security disaster, they sent me a login to a a rep, not a customer, and then just swept it under the rug. Contribution reports are unreliable. Their team even confirmed this! Their admin interfaces are a nightmare to navigate. If it was free the user interface would be terrible. For $$$$ is a joke! Too many confusing reps. A dumpster fire of code in the web reviews widget make matters worse. YOTPO's impact on site speed has been detrimental. The promised platform synergies are meh. SMS Bump is a usability disaster. Meetings with their team are a waste of time. Other platforms have proven to be far more beneficial, while YOTPO has only added frustration, complexity, and countless hours of troubleshooting. Avoid YOTPO at all costs.

Comments: Review management. Helps hesitant customers see value when other "real" people also have purchased the same thing .

Pros:

Ease of use, 100%. A lot more functions that I don't use, but room to grow into.

Cons:

That Google Seller Ratings and Google Shopping Ads are only available in the Prime tier and that you have to upgrade to 250 reviews per month to get the Google functions. I would like a Prime subscription with only 50 reviews per month and the "Reviews booster" on.

However, Google has review volume requirements that brands must meet before they can acquire their Google Seller Rating. Because of these requirements, this feature is available in our Prime package. Comments: We were happy with a previous reviews solution until we couldn't integrate with Google shopping ads but then discovered so many more options

Pros:

works great, clean interface, integration with other software and services

Cons:

A lot of options to scroll through and pricy compared to previous solution

Yotpo is the best!

Comments: We've worked with Yotpo for 10 years and are very happy with their services!

Pros:

We love the ease of collecting reviews, as well as their shoppable UGC and SMS solutions.

Cons:

We've had a few small logistics issues comes up on the Yotpo visual side, although we have collected quite a lot of images over the years which could have contibuted.

Tracking Reviews Made Easy!

Comments: I've been pretty satisfied overall. Plus Yotpo has many other apps that intergrate well.

Pros:

This app is very functional for the proce. I've used some more expensive ones, but Yotpo does everything those do for less $$$. I like the simplicity of the platform and find the customer service extrememly helpful.

Cons:

I wish there was a way to custimize my reveiw emails a little more.

Love the new widget upgrades!

Pros:

I like the customization aspect. It flows nicely with our site and looks very natural. The new widgets are great! They made the customer images larger which looks really nice!

Cons:

I do wish it was a bit less expensive but I also feel it is worth it.

Comments: I've had an overall positive experience with Yotpo because is helps our customers see past product reviews and project images.

Pros:

I like that we are able to show our future customers products they are looking for, as well as display honest, customer feedback. This adds to the overall shopping experience.

Cons:

There are some technical issues that I have not been able to do or figure out over the years. Even with development help, we still run into issues occasionally.

You get what you pay for

Comments: No complaints!

Pros:

It's probably the most full featured solution available. I had a client that used Yotpo on BigCommmerce and loved it, but wasn't thrilled about the price. He tried several other programs such as Stamped.io and nothing really compared to Yotpo. In the end, he went back to Yotpo because it's worth the price tag.

Cons:

It can be quite pricey for larger retailers.

Nice product that help to get reviews on the website

Pros:

The reminder and the easy way to answer reviews. That Chat service is easy to access and answers is fast.

Cons:

Because I have a generic website, it is really hard to get some help from the agent. They don't know how to help me.

The best platform for collecting customer reviews

Comments: An excellent resource for reviews, questions, and weekly/monthly summaries. User-friendly and navigable. Early on, the company encountered a few issues, but they were swiftly resolved. It is beneficial to moderate online reviews and responds to meeting customers' needs. I recommend this e-commerce tool.

Pros:

We have significantly increased the number of reviews with Yotpo. We have a lot of product reviews, not only for marketing but also for the benefit of our customers. They are currently used in advertising, social media, email marketing, and other areas. Due to the large number of SKUs, it was difficult to collect reviews for products other than our most popular. The most useful feature of Yotpo is how easily it integrates with your website and provides customers with a widget to leave product reviews or ask questions. The benefit is that all reviews are available for moderation in one location. It is also useful to be able to comment directly to consumers, add tags as needed, and keep a summary of all reviews and questions. It is simple to find exactly what you are looking for, whether by product name, number of stars, email addresses, or other criteria.

Cons:

I dislike that once I schedule a campaign with a specific segmentation, the segment's subscribers are locked in, and the campaign does not automatically refresh as the segment changes. This makes sending weekend campaigns difficult because I must wait until the night before to schedule the campaign and ensure that the segmentation is up to date. This also prevents me from sending emails in my preferred time zone.

Great Platform Overall

Comments: Overall, the platform has been pretty great. Our biggest gripe would be in the pricing. As a small business it is incredibly hard to have all of the important things (like a review platform) we need to be successful and also drive the kind of revenue we need to be sustainable. Every service costs money and it adds up quick. Most services are not small business focused as they get a lot more money from enterprise packages, which is unfortunate us little guys. Yotpo does offer growth packages, but they ramp up in price really quickly.

Pros:

Reviews are incredibly important and Yotpo is a great platform to deliver them. They offer quite a few features in the lower priced tiers and are relatively easy to use. Yotpo is a recognized name by many consumers as a trusted reviews platform, which is a great benefit. Support has always been quick and helpful. They are a Google reviews partner, which is important to us.

Cons:

The interface could be easier to navigate. The price is pretty high, but going cheaper means you may not get a platform that people know and trust.

Good Software, Poor Communication and Help

Comments: Yotpo offers a solid product for Loyalty Programs and Referral Programs, but if you don't have a dedicated team to figure out implementation, this can be a real arduous process to set up. Also, the customer support/reps are not knowledgeable.

Pros:

The software is a great product. It functions well and we haven't had many issues with it. Implementation was difficult because their backend support to help walk us through the process seemed like he was overwhelmed with work. He knew the product really well and was helpful, but you could tell he was really stretched thin. It took us almost 3 times longer to get setup than anticipated, which was unfortunate.

Cons:

Getting help from our customer reps has been a really negative experience. It feels like they don't want to help and/or are unable to help. Every question we have ends with a, "I'll look into that..." and then we never hear anything back.

Dishonesty can do damage to your business

Comments: If you want customers to trust you, I would recommend you stay away from using Yotpo.

Pros:

Yotpo does not offer any major benefits. You can invite more people to view your account, but that’s a standard feature.

Cons:

The biggest downfall of this software is that you can choose to not publish negative reviews. While that may be seen as a benefit for businesses, it removes all credibility and will damage your reputation.

Delivers reviews, easy to use!

Comments: It makes my client's money every day and increases engagement. It makes me look good every time I recommend it and Yotpo is a great company to deal with.

Pros:

Yotpo is easy to install if you're using a major eCommerce cart provider like Magento, Shopify, etc. There are some other copy cats out there that promise the world but they have all fallen short or simply miss things. I'm using the incentive coupons to get more reviews with some clients and it's awesome. The review moderation is easy to use, makes sense and we use it every day. As an eCommerce consultant I recommend Yotpo to all my clients and see the results first hand.

Cons:

Yotpo can be a powerful tool in the right hands. It has a ton of features and you can get lost during setup on which are the most important.

Great tool for growing and managing reviews

Comments: Our overall experience using Yotpo has been great. It has helped us to engage our customers, collect nearly 500 reviews, and showcase them to help drive future purchases.

Pros:

The Yotpo platform is easy to use, and makes collecting and managing reviews pretty seamless. I also love how our Yotpo account manager makes improvement suggestions, and offers to implement them on our behalf. The support team at Yotpo is also very helpful, especially for a SMB like ours that doesn't always have a developer available to make a change. They are quick to reply and incredibly helpful in implementing changes.

Cons:

I wish it were easier to customize aesthetic without requiring developer or support assistance.

User-Generated Content Made Simple with Yotpo!

Comments: The Yotpo integration with Shopify greatly improved conversion on my company's product pages. Not only did our reviews show the popularity of our products, but many customers wrote detailed stories of how they connected deeply to their product. This added another dimension to the product page! Through Yotpo, we were also able to search through all of the reviews and add our favorites to landing pages, post-sale emails and social media posts. This user-generated content built trust with our customers and enabled us to show off how relational our company was! The platform is easy to use and the appearance can be modified to fit seamlessly with your website theme. Automated and customizable emails make it easy to gather reviews for your website, and you can choose which ones are displayed on your website. Simple - and worth every dollar!

Pros:

Simplicity in integration with Shopify. Customizable design on the website. Improves conversions on the product page. Great to publish reviews directly to Twitter & Facebook or turn into paid ad content.

Cons:

The search function within the back end is faulty sometimes.

Comments: YOTPO really helps build customer trust for my store and thus aids conversion rate. The carousel in particular is very visual and easy for users to quickly view, with comments and pics

Pros:

Very visual and easy to implement with my Shopify store. You can customise to match branding when you pay a higher monthly fee. Review emails are easy to set up. Review carousel is very visual and looks good on website.

Cons:

Certain features add to the monthly cost. Javascript can slow down website, so i have experimented as to where to display certain features on the page.

Yotpo: A Solid Option for Transparency

Pros:

Yotpo definitely stands out as a leader in review and content management. It performs consistently and if anything is not working, they have extensive help articles and easy to contact support. Currently, we use Yotpo Reviews and UGC. It's great to have not only word reviews but allow customers to share their photos of the finished project.

Cons:

Sometimes the dashboard can be glitchy and not load properly. If you're on a slow internet connection, be prepared to experience some delays as well.
