This online time keeping system for UKG is incredible

4.0 last year

Comments: Paper-based or outmoded systems are being phased out in favor of a unified digital hub governed by uniform guidelines. Because of this, we have been able to push for the automation and uniformity of time-keeping.

Pros:

Employee timekeeping for hourly and salaried workers alike. Time and work order information for hourly workers is recorded. Time worked by salaried personnel is recorded, but only for the purposes of allocating allowances and matching task orders.

Cons:

It's possible that you'll hit a roadblock if your restrictions are very intricate. For instance, if your company is subject to CBA regulations, you may need to get inventive with your method or setup.

Account Manager

Comments: Overall VERY positive - we're working on implementing this in our current organization I have used this before in my previous workplace.

Pros:

It allows employees to sign in and off with just their cellphone - saves time on punch clocks.

Cons:

No every employee likes using apps because of the geo location.

Worst company to deal with

1.0 10 months ago

Comments: Although there is nothing redeeming about the UKG Ready platform, the customer service and technical help are the worst parts of the experience. If you need help with any given issue, there is no way to get help from someone by calling or emailing, all you can do is create a service request ticket and you may get a call back within a few days. Often times, rather than help you they tell you to visit their Community site and tell you to scour through hundreds of threads to find the help you need from other users. The implementation process was a nightmare and many of the functions we needed implemented were not completed or they were left half-done. After using the platform for a year we offered to pay UKG additional fees to implement two specific functions we desperately needed (onboarding and recruiting). I followed up with our account manager on a weekly basis asking for a quote, she consistently gave me the run-around, stating she was working with her sales team on it. After two months, she finally provided a quote, but not what for I asked, rather, it was a quote for UKG to do a complete analysis of their platform to determine what we need. Upon making a change to one of our vendors it was necessary to create a new file feed with UKG. It took UKG 30 days to respond to our request for a new file feed. Once we were finally assigned a project manager he stated that we can expect it to take 5 business for him to respond to any calls or emails during the process. These are just a few examples of the horror it is to deal with UKG. They are the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. We have been used as references for UKG and we have told each company to run away as fast as they can and we will continue to do so.

Pros:

There are no positive things to say about UKG.

Cons:

Please refer to the overall experience summary for details on our experience with UKG.

Best app to use

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: I use this daily to clock in and out. It truly makes it so simple. Instead of trying to keep up with clocking in and out.

Pros:

This is the most easiest app to navigate. There are so many different features.

Cons:

I think the only thing I don’t like is sometimes I have to double click to get clock out.

Wish We Chose Different Software

2.0 7 months ago

Comments: Pretty horrible with one exception. We LOVED our implementation specialist, Ivy Miranda. However the "Solutions Consultant" was a pompous ass when we ran into problems and the Relationship Manager was not of much help.

Pros:

The Benefits Module is user friendly. But even with that, the EDI team is non-responsive sometimes and we've had trouble with data on carrier invoices.

Cons:

Performance Module: We abandoned it because: i.Menus are confusing. The word "Comments" is hard coded and it means "Submit." Therefore saving and submitting was hard. ii.Several people didn't understand how to use the "goals" systems. Recruitment Module: Clunky. Could not drag and drop resumes to email and other problems. We abandoned it. Compensation Module: Could not even finish implementation. 2 parts of the system do not "talk to each other" so we could not display information for primary positions and secondary positions in the same report. Core HR: Requires dual entry in several fields because the 2 part of the system do not share data. It's like 2 separate systems cobbled together. Infuriating.

Like Having A 24/7 Employee Who Never Calls In Sick

5.0 last year

Comments: My experience has been phenomenal. I have a wonderful working relationship with a number of team members and have even gotten to speak 1 on 1 with the [sensitive content hidden] of the Company. I have not seen any other major company where the [sensitive content hidden] is that available AND willing to talk to you,

Pros:

UKG Ready is a highly customizable solution. Like a buffet, you can take a little of this and a little of that to get the features and functions you most want or need. The system is also highly scalable and expandable. We have added on more features over the years and it is a seamless integration with existing data when adding on. The support team is Best In Class. I feel like I have my own support team when I have a question or I have broken something because I didn't read some of the support tools available. This support team is assigned to your company so you always know who you will be working with.

Cons:

I have nothing negative to say about UKG Ready. It is a powerful tool which works for you 24/7/365.

UKG Ready for a mobile workforce

4.0 5 months ago

Pros:

Fairly easy to use and helpful for mobile and off site employees to clock in and out.

Cons:

The authentication defaults to constantly verifying if you don't change it. This was annoying for staff until we learned to set it for longer.

Functional

3.0 last year

Comments: It has been difficult. Simple things I could do in other payroll management systems usually end up needing me to submit a ticket for assistance.

Pros:

The cost for UKG is better than most HRIS and payroll management companies

Cons:

It is so hard to make changes, from admin right to setting up the different areas for payroll deductions, benefits, etc. It needs to be streamlined for friendliness.

Enhances employee privacy and gives them the right to review evaluations and follow up on their progress according to performance indicators

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: UKG Ready has given evaluations the required transparency, enhanced the values of self-criticism among employees and enabled them to manage their relationships and work affairs efficiently.

Pros:

I like that UKG Ready is like an employee's bag. Everything is in the same place, we can easily access information about our job status and progress according to KPIs. I liked the ease of documenting the start and end of official working hours and the accuracy of documentation, issuing a payslip, scheduling vacations or requesting leave directly from the employee's page. I liked the ease of approving goals with UKG Ready, and I liked the ease of sharing them with direct managers by updating them and issuing reports about them. What UKG Ready provides in terms of dashboards that display progress according to each KPI independently, and the transparency of accessing and reviewing evaluations is very motivating to put in more effort.

Cons:

UKG Ready has not overlooked anything, is easy to use, and ensures real-time notifications that keep us up to date with updates.

Good product

4.0 7 months ago

Comments: When I was able to access this software on my phone, it worked great. Unfortunately, I had a problem getting to log in the app when I had to update my phone number. For months, I was unable to use because it had my old phone number for verification of my account. There wasn’t any way for me to update it within the UKG application. I had changed my phone number in my work account, workday, etc. and it still showed my old number in UKG. Besides that, the product is really good when you are able to log in.

Pros:

All the features available instead of just only scheduling.

Cons:

Not being able to view all shifts scheduled on a certain day.

Best work app to have.

4.0 last year

Comments: So far I have had no issues with the essentials of UKG Ready. I have been thrilled to have control of when I clock in and out, submitting missed punches, and submitting time for work related courses completed at home. This has become my favorite work related app.

Pros:

It is fairly easy to use even for the employees who are still new to the modern day mobile devices. Having my time clock in my hand made my job easier to get to and my day easier to end.

Cons:

I would like to see tutorials available for functions that aren't used frequently. If someone isn't used to requesting time off, they can get a bit confused with the layout of the screen.

Good HR system.

4.0 9 months ago

Comments: Overall Pretty good system to use some faults here and there but they are easy to work around.

Pros:

The thing i liked the most about this system is how easy it to use day to day within seconds i can book off holiday right from my sofa.

Cons:

I don't like the use of Face ID. It's very much faulty because even if you have a little extra light it has a bit of a moment and takes about 15 attempts to use
