The wind beneath my wings
Comments: Clarity in scheduling multiple technicians for multiple stops each and every day. Data and information easily accessible for planning, business development, and more.
Pros:
ServiceTrade has been a joy to implement and use everyday. The dev team, and everyone at ServiceTrade, have been absolutely incredible. I cannot recommend this solution enough. From day one, we had no half measures. We jumped in both feet and never looked back. The scheduling makes planning our technicians days straightforward and clear. I could ramble on for hours about how much I love the search functionality, and the data you can quickly get to really get down into the nitty gritty of whatever you're looking for. To my experience, any software that claims to do everything, does nothing well. ServiceTrade is near perfectly optimized for the scope it encompasses. Features are being added all the time, and the dev team are always enthusiastic. I foresee this product getting lots of love for years and years to come. This product only gets better and better. Third party integrations have been a breeze, and a staggering amount of third party applications are available.
Cons:
Only a couple items come to mind, none are deal breakers. A general timeclock for tracking daily general time would be helpful, however we've found a small third party solution for this. Ability to add non-billable appointments and vendor stops would also be nice, and again not a huge deal. A great unification of built-in app and web features would be a great quality of life improvement, however I have a feeling those sneaky devs are up to something already... they always are.

Do not risk your company on this product
Comments:
The initial rollout was great however as fast as the program was operational, they became crickets.
Updates & upgrades have caused unexplained data and functionality loss.
Do not trust them.

More complicated larger jobs are difficult and tedious. ServiceTrade could be more intuitive when it comes to progress billing.

Love the product for the service industry
Pros:
Quick resolution to issues and workflow hiccups
Cons:
Continued education seems to be a big issue for us, it's mostly because of our internal complex workflow but a general educational workshop would be great. I've gone through the certification process a few months ago and those seemed a bit dated as well.
Leveraging Field Software for Success
Comments: Outstanding! Great software and greater people!
Pros:
Servicetrade makes all team members communicate better with our customers to best serve them.
Cons:
Paying in full in 1 payment. It would be better to be able to pay monthly.
Very Easy to use and very user friendly
Comments: Again, I love the usefulness of ST. I would definitely recommend it to any company.
Pros:
the invoicing of each job is super easy to use. I love the fact that you can see when the customer views the invoice.
Cons:
The syncing with Sage 100 sometimes has its issues. Not syncing with the appropriate codes, is a hassle. There are a lot of work arounds we have to use for it come out correctly coded.

onboarding process could be improved with the initial product and additional services.

Comments: I use this software daily and overall have a positive experience.

Ease of use. Cross application compatibility with "Building Reports."

I would like to be able to expand the main text box when quoting or preparing a work order.

Service trade review
Comments: Our folks really like it. Its a good service/work order platform
Pros:
The ease of use and the amount of data it can handle
Cons:
The cost for additional things it does is expensive. Time card, forms, etc.
Alternatives Considered:
ServiceTrade Has Transformed Our Business
Comments: Before using ServiceTrade we were using emailing of PDF forms on iPads to manage all our of jobs. Having ServiceTrade took our business to a whole new level and allowed us to expand into multiple offices.
Pros:
ServiceTrade has a great product that is intuitive to use. Since we subscribed 4 years ago they have continued to expand on the capabilities with updates to the software every 2-4 weeks. They are very responsive to requests for features and the customer support is super friendly and helpful. They integrate with key software companies to expand their functionality (like Intacct and Quickbooks) and they have a great API and integration with Zapier.
Cons:
I hope they can continue to accelerate the addition of new features. There are a lot of companies out there trying to solve the same problems. I haven't seen anyone providing better value yet but I hope ServiceTrade stays ahead of the competition because whoever has the best software to manage their business will hold a significant advantage int he marketplace and we would like to stay with ServiceTrade. Switching software is a pain!
Game Changer
Pros:
Building new customers, quoting, building database of service history.
Cons:
Using the web interface on my phone. There are occasions where I need to revise and resubmit my quote on-the-go away from my laptop and it can be difficult to edit the quote and resend from my phone.

Well, I open the app every morning, soon as I'm in my van. My appointment for the day is there & ready to go. It's just easy for me, I really enjoy servicetrade.

Pros:
Easy to use and learn. I can get a overview of all of the jobs for the day.

Sometimes the tech photos will not load properly

Account Manager review
Comments: I use ST everyday. It is my main tool at work, to make service jobs and invoicing. So I find it very user friendly and you have a lot of information at your finger tips.
Pros:
That it's very user friendly and it's easy to teach to use.
Cons:
I liked the old format for invoicing. The old format just seemed more user friendly than the new.

Service Operations Software
Comments: Would like to have better customer financial reporting. OTher then that Service trade has been a mager upgrade to running our service department.
Pros:
Service Trade was very easy to install and roll out, its features contain all we need to manage our field, purchase parts and quote and invoice. I like the quoting features the most, it allows for quick turna round from tech to the customer for fast approval of the work.
Cons:
Financial reporting and profitability by customer. The systems should have more accurate reporting on the financial status of the customer with out having to look in several places. Or assing a contract to every customer.
Service Trade Good and Bad
Comments: I would say that we are happy overall with the ability of the tool. Especially when it comes to dispatch service, service quoting. We are lacking on the service contract, installation management and service inspection forms. We also would really like to have more reporting available. The account management and attention from our account manager [sensitive content hidden] has been excellent and he has been an advocate for our business.
Pros:
Service Trade is a great tool for dispatch and management of our service business. We are looking for ways to utilize the system to also manage our construction and job costing of our installation business. We are finding that at times it is not as intuitive as we would like to create and utilize data reports from ST. The only way to do this to add a subscription for engineers to build the reports or go to the Enterprise which for a small business is difficult.
Cons:
Some of the features are not quite ready like Service Forms or project management. We have also had some issues with getting parts ledger working 100% and this was not realized until we have gone live with the system. We woudl also like to have the ability to pull live reports to manage our business and don't feel this should require enterprise account if the reporting is already created and available.

Comments: We are extremely happy with the ServiceTrade product and team.
Pros:
ServiceTrade is easy to use for everyone in our company. This includes field technicians on the mobile app, schedulers, billers, managers, sales, and corporate users. ServiceTrade helps us track recurring services so that inspections are not missed. With deficiency tracking, they make it simple to quote repairs as soon as they're located and get the issues resolved for customers more quickly. The Service Portal for customers allows them to see their inspection reports, photos, job history, and upcoming appointments at a glance.Their support team is always friendly, quick with their responses, and helpful. Behind the scenes, their developers work quickly and thoroughly to ensure that new features are built as requested, tested, and then rolled out with minimal errors.
Cons:
It would be nice for the mobile app and web versions to automatically log users out after a certain period of inactivity. We have found that some technicians have not logged out in several months, which is usually the root cause of mobile app glitches they experience.

Can send messages to customers. It would be nice to be able to send a email from service trade. I like the service link but I don’t like that I have to leave service trade to send a message to a client

Comments: We have learned to really like ST as a company and we enjoy using it as our daily scheduler and service system. We are hoping that the ST team is willing to work with us and consider some of our ideas on how t make it better.
Pros:
I have really enjoyed being able to organize our technicians schedules with ease and all of the history and information we are able to accumulate in this system. Everything you need to know about a customer and a job is always at your finger tips.
Cons:
Parts Ledger has been a pain majority of the time. The "mobile app" is great for getting PO's easily but it gets stuck all the time and glitches all the time. It stops working all the time and the process of reversing or editing a PO is too complicated.

Fire Force Service Trade
Comments: Over all I am very happy with service trade. I am building a kitchen department and without it I would be very time consuming.
Pros:
Everyday use and tracking of jobs is user friendly. The reminders for services due is critical to cash flow. The bid system allows us to quickly secure jobs and manage them. Our customers can easily see the photos and reports to justify the expense of keeping their fire systems compliant,
Cons:
I do not not like the canned responses from the service team. I am very busy and when I need help I do not have time to read an article. For the money we spend on this system I feel a live person should help not refer me to an article.

I am a technician using ServiceTrade for my daily jobs
Comments: It is a great application to use for the service industry and I know that there are still a bunch of small mom and pop places using the good ole pen and pad method for their services. I’ve been recommending this application to these small companies when I service them trying to simplify their lives really.
Pros:
I like that we can run everything into and out of ServiceTrade with scheduling the jobs as well as invoicing from that listed job and have everything linked to one system instead Of pulling from everywhere to close out one job. It simplifies the entire process from the admin side. From the technician side, it lays everything out in a systematic fashion. Our jobs are separated by the day and we can attach photos, invoices with job line items, as well as list deficiencies that still remain with photos. Also with the customer being able to have access to it, they are on the same page and know everything that is going on at all times and aren’t kept in the dark.
Cons:
The one thing that can improve I would say is when you select map to map ping the location of your jobs. It would be fantatstic to be able to select just a day instead of showing your entire schedule. We drive all over the state as well as surrounding states and to be able to narrow the search to just show what I have tomorrow for example, I could visually see where my jobs are and plan my day accordingly. This one be the greatest improvement to make from a technician standpoint.
