Pipedrive Drives Positive CRM Experience

Comments: The support team via the chat service has been of great assistance. The thoroughness of the data one can compile for a sales prospect is very good.

Pros:

The calendar integrations with Google and Microsoft365. Ability to create templates for emailing.

Cons:

There is a reasonably steep learning curve, although the support website and the chat services are beneficial.

Alternatives Considered: Microsoft Outlook, Zoho CRM, Salesforce Sales Cloud and HubSpot CRM

CRM Built for Long Term Use

Comments: A definitely leap in use cases from the previous CRM I was using. Being able to integrate with my Google Calendar for tasks/events, and entering in a number of custom fields that I can filter by is very useful.

Pros:

There are many ways to customize and complete tasks that can be set for each user. I can grow with the service, upgrading to higher tiers for more tools.

Cons:

All the customization can make it difficult to decide how to best implement the services across the company. The base tier restricts the use of certain tools that would be extremely beneficial to a small start up, such as automated cadence emails.

Alternatives Considered: Salesforce Sales Cloud

Reasons for Choosing Pipedrive: PipeDrive is a more robust CRM than LessAnnoying. It allows for much more customization and room for growth.

Switched From: Less Annoying CRM

Reasons for Switching to Pipedrive: Salesforce is too complex for where my business is currently at. It would be too cumbersome to teach to a small business with tools that aren't necessary yet and not worth the price.

Minimalist CRM Meets our Needs

Comments: Overall satisfied when considering it is a low cost product.

Pros:

It covers the basics of what we need in a CRM.

Cons:

It has limitations when you have multiple product lines or locaitons

Alternatives Considered: HubSpot Marketing Hub and Salesforce Sales Cloud

Comments: Very easy to get going with the must have features.

Pros:

Does everything I need without having to do massive amounts of configurations. Great UI/UX, Fast and intuitive. Data can be in easily managed in bulk and exported and imported back in. Automation Tools and Integrations with Make.com, Zapier are relatively easy to setup Smart Documents, great inclusion considering the alternatives out there are priced so high. Email Integration is pretty solid, if you team are able to be transparent adds a lot of clarity to deals/organisations.

Cons:

Missing some customisation features which could help with business rules you want your users to follow or understand. Not all data is easily accessed via API or Excel. Price, Product models to simplistic for my particular use cases.

Alternatives Considered: Zoho CRM and HubSpot CRM

Reasons for Choosing Pipedrive: Slow, Poor UI, Required much more configuration to get the basics.

Simplicity. Implementation on your own without a need for an implementation agency.

Comments: I was very happy with using Pipedrive, it didn't require a 'consulting agency' to implement it, I was able to implement in a 100+ software development company.

Pros:

The simplicity. The UX and the UI. It's super easy to set up, even for a non-technical person.

Cons:

Reporting seemed to be pretty limited in what you are able to do. Some of the metrics you can only view in "this month" mode, and not everything you can see in a timeline to track it over time.

Alternatives Considered: Zoho CRM, Livespace, InStream CRM and HubSpot CRM

Reasons for Choosing Pipedrive: The switch was from the Free plan of HubSpot. The first paid tier had 5–10 seats included, while I only needed 3, so it didn't make sense to upgrade. So, we switched to Pipedrive.

Switched From: HubSpot CRM

Reasons for Switching to Pipedrive: The best UI and UX. It didn't feel that overwhelmed with all the features and stuff.

Comments: Pipedrive stands out as my top choice among CRMs, having thoroughly evaluated over a dozen options. I consistently recommend it to my clients due to its exceptional versatility with third-party integrations. Additionally, I suggest it to beginners because of the extensive features available even with the top-tier package, which remains one of the most affordable options on the market.

Pros:

I appreciate Pipedrive's straightforward user interface, its flexibility for customization, and its extensive range of integrations, which is unmatched in its category. I would even describe it as modular, as you can easily add almost any feature you desire through third-party integrations. This ensures that you're never restricted by the limitations of what Pipedrive may not excel at. On the other hand, if you prefer an all-in-one solution, Pipedrive still outperforms its competitors in this aspect.

Cons:

I'm not particularly fond of how certain basic features are restricted to higher-priced plans. While I lean towards the 'modular' setup, the lowest-priced plan is the most logical choice for me. However, I do miss some features like prioritizing important fields based on the deal or the stage of the person/organization in the pipeline. In the past, I subscribed to Pipedrive's top-tier package, but I found the automation features to be underwhelming. They are somewhat limited, and the triggers don't always function as expected.

Great Starter CRM for New Users

Pros:

Very easy to enter new contacts into the system, or to do a bulk import. Very Easy to search for contacts via the search query, including custom fields. You can select multiple contacts at the same time and edit their information in a multiselect format. Very easy to create custom columns that will enable you to organise the information that you need.

Cons:

Not the best with organising tasks automatically or checking for overlapping tasks.They do not have a lead generation tool in the form of a lead capture technology or widget.Does not have an email marketing integration like more modern Real Estate CRM's

Pros:

If you're looking for a CRM that requires you to REFRESH the page after VIRTUALLY EVERY ACTION, you've found the right CRM! TRY reaching them on live chat... yeah, you'll wait at least 90 mins. AVOID these people at all costs - a complete rip off.

Cons:

Nothing. Poorly designed without the ability to customize default fields.

Comments: First time using Pipedrive, after years of experience using Salesforce and Hubspot, and I really enjoy the user-centered experience. The tool has allowed us to build powerful sales automation (Activecampaign, Zapier, Calendly, Clickfunnels, etc) to empower our team to focus on closing more deals.

Pros:

Very intuitive CRM, with solid integrations with other apps through Zapier.

Cons:

The licence is not cheap and it was difficult to migrate data seamlessly from one pipedrive account to another.

A cost-effective CRM solution for businesses with small sales teams

Pros:

I like how easy it is to start an operation and gain insights from the deals pipeline. Pipedrive also offers tons of content to introduce and maintain your knowledge about SalesOps and what fits best with your deals workflow. You'll be able to integrate it with almost all the relevant tools for data analysis. Even when it's not native to Pipedrive, you can find the right solution on the marketplace.

Cons:

I don't like how the dashboards are structured, eventually we started using other tools and in-house solutions. It gets confusing when you start to create one dash after another... if you don't keep track of it and clean any unnecessary dashboard, you'll find yourself lost among all the legacy charts you created before. But, as long as you keep things organized, you have a great tool to work with.

A dream to work with as an admin/IT

Comments: Overall Pipedrive has been a success in our company thanks to the great integration into our lead generation and updating, plus the call planning tool.
We can have our Sales team use Pipedrive almost exclusively and talk about looking for an alternatives hasn't come up yet, neither from the IT nor the Sales team

Pros:

The API is the cornerstone of Pipedrive for me and my company. We have a very fluctuating target group and update our Leads every month, which was a pain in the past but the API makes a breeze. All around the API, the Automation and Filters allows our sales team to really concentrate on sales instead of checking leads and making decisions, they can just go down the prepared list and call.

Cons:

I'm only reporting/reviewing from the perspective of an admin user, and the only downside I can see is that with the mass of our leads we need to temper ourselves when updating because of the 10k a day rate limit.

Comments: I only used pipedrive for about a year. I feel like I could have gotten the same amount of value out of a spreadsheet.

Pros:

It has a super easy user interface. Not a whole lot of features needed to use it for pipeline management.

Cons:

Pros:

Pipedrive is ace for managing our sales pipeline. It's really intuitive, which is great for onboarding new sales reps. I haven't had any dramas with tracking deals and keeping everything organized. The reporting features are pretty good too.

Cons:

To be honest, it's not as feature-rich as some other CRM systems I've used. It could do with some extra marketing automation tools. Also, the mobile app could be a bit better. But that's about it.

Pros:

Pipedrive is simple to use and doesn't require extensive reading to grasp how it works. They offer some wonderful tutorials to aid with anything that may arise. It's an excellent tool for anyone looking for something easy to use and inexpensive. The tools allow our small team to keep track of emails, leads, and lead stages all from a single dashboard. Pipedrive is designed specifically for sales professionals. The management reporting tools are there and improving every quarter, but Pipedrive stands out for its ease of use for salespeople.

Cons:

One disadvantage to using Pipedrive is that you have to pay extra to use some custom fields in the reports, and the fee can be rather high, especially if you want to unlock all of the features.

Scripted service. Not customer friendly

Comments: After our original Administrator left the company, Pipedrive made it impossible for us to change the Administrator on our account, yet they continued to charge our credit card. Repeat attempts to get their assistance, to get them to stop charging us, were met with scripted responses explaining how they can't help me and the only way to resolve this was by getting our credit card company involved. After 10 months and an escalation to the CEO, CFO and COO, with a final "sorry, we can't help you", we figured out a way to stop them.

Pros:

Absolutely nothing. We weren't able to use it for the past 10 months.

Cons:

The service - from the top down; Pipedrive needs to take a hard look at its service. There is no question that your approach is not a customer centric one. Instead, you implement policies, procedures, and scripted responses that work to ensure your staff and the company as a whole will not succeed in today's environment which requires both critical thinking and a common sense approach.

The most effective and straightforward sales tool available

Comments: Team members are encouraged to utilize the product because of its appealing UI, which makes it easy for them to see how it will benefit their work. Pipedrive is a powerful and flexible system that can adapt quickly to meet your needs helpfully. Because of how easy and effective it is, everyone in the team will be eager to use it daily.

Pros:

Our sales department uses it as a tool for the total management and sales process. It gives a database of prospective clients and keeps track of new applicants to maintain communication with them. We finally have a solution that allows us to keep track of all of our sales in one place and monitor their progress over time. Pipedrive's many features will enable us to accomplish our goals and more, including the collection of prospect information and the scheduling of follow-up meetings.

Cons:

Larger organizations with a more extensive client database may benefit from an increase in the program's memory capacity, which becomes taxed when dealing with a significant number of registered contacts.

Great software with questionable pricing schemes

Comments: Did not use it due to the pricing scheme that they have in use. Did opt for a cheaper option.

Pros:

Easy to use and many possibilities, similarly the UX is good and many additions.

Cons:

I think their pricing packages are quite plain stupid. I used Pipedrive before in a large organization and now we have a small start-up with what I wanted to get Pipedrive going. For me it was OK to start with the basic 14 EUR package. However, then I realised that it does not have basic outlook integration and only the next package has it that is 34 EUR per month. That is too much when I am a basic user and just need a basic integration function and lead table.
