Great SIS
Comments: WCA uses Gradelink to connect parents with their child's school experience. Being able to see grades, discipline reports, and upcoming events allow families to gain insight into the school.
Pros:
Gradelink is a very simple School information System (SIS). As such, the setup time is very fast. The Gradelink support team is very helpful in getting the support that is necessary.
Cons:
Because the SIS is a simple, there are not many additional features. The basic features- gradebook, lesson plans, etc. are accessible. However, the more complex features are not available.

Comments: The total system is very user friendly and the support is simply "the best"! It is very reasonably priced and affordable for large and small schools.
Pros:
The support from [sensitive content hidden] are unsurpassed by anyone that I have dealt with before! They are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help any time you call. If they are busy and unavailable when you call, they are very punctual in returning you call, with answers ASAP. They both have personalities that are a strong credit to Gradelink!
Cons:
Haven't found anything in three years yet!

Comments: If it was not for [sensitive content hidden]'s assistance, I would consider using a different SIS for our school.
Pros:
[sensitive content hidden] is the reason why I like Gradelink. He is very patient and willing to help those who reach out to him. Apparently, our school has a 1:1 customer support person who never calls or emails back. [sensitive content hidden] on the other hand, returns calls and takes the time to walk you through to resolve the issue. Gradelink needs more employees like [sensitive content hidden].
Cons:
The things I do not like about Gradelink is lack of support. Trying to reach out to customer support and not receiving a return email or phone call is very frustrating especially when you are new to the program. Sometimes your videos are not helpful, and you need an experienced support representative.

Comments: From start to finish, it's been really pleasant! But, seriously it's [sensitive content hidden] who makes it work for us, who helps us when we have dumb moments, who never makes us feel dumb when we have dumb moments, and who keeps us loving gradelink
Pros:
[sensitive content hidden] is amazing. She is always quick to help, very clearly answers questions, and is thoughtful and funny.
Cons:
Our school year hasn't begun, so we haven't gotten our hands but so dirty with gradelink. As of today, there isn't anything we don't like...but if there is, I'm 110% sure [sensitive content hidden] will help us figure it out

Excellent Customer Service
Comments: We have used Gradelink for over ten years and have been pleased with the capabilities the platform offers.
Pros:
The customer service we receive is excellent. Having one SIS for managing our students and billing is very helpful. I like the ability to be able to see what the parents see when they login so I can answer their questions.
Cons:
At this time nothing comes to mind that I like least with Gradelink.

Learning to love Gradelink
Comments: The best thing about Gradelink is the customer service. Anytime we have had a question or needed help with something, Customer Service has been readily available with a REAL person via email or phone.
Pros:
This is our first year using Gradelink and there are definitely some things to work out in terms of setting up our classes, report cards, etc. Once we learn and understand the parts of Gradelink, things are fairly simple to run.
Cons:
We have had a huge hiccup with billing/PaySimple. We do not find that it suits our needs for our tuition billing.

Comments: We love their customer service. They are pretty prompt. Overall, we have been very happy with the service. Our only motivation to every consider switching SISystems is so that our data can export much easier.
Pros:
I like that it's difficult to permanently make an error. Most things are easily correctable should someone accidentally make a change that they didn't mean to make. It is user friendly.
Cons:
The data doesn't easily export to other systems/apps. It has to be edited each time data is exported. I also wish all the reports were completely customizable, meaning I would like to be able to choose exactly what data I need for a report to export.

Pros:
Our service respresentative [sensitive content hidden] Nevar was the most helpful person! She has such a sweet spirit and compassionate heart. She clearly understood the time constraints we were under and also showed a positive attitude even when we posed questions that were most likely all quite usophisticated. She was about to lead us through several challenging areas leading us to corrections as well as solutions. Her sense of humor and willing attitude made my day end with positive thoughts and direction. [sensitive content hidden] is certainly a keeper! I will always ask for her when I have a problem because she is that quiet spirit that makes things better just because she is there! Thank you for having this quality of personnel on staff working with flustered people who when they call seem to feel that there is no answer. She not only has answers but is willing to take you by the hand to correct necessary areas, She makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside which is a testament to her care of and for her responsibility in the corporation. Thank you!

Thank you, Delicia we appreciate your feedback! While Gradelink does enable you to download PDF report cards by individual, class, or grade level, mass emailing is not available at this time. However, an even easier distribution method is to allow parents to view them in their portals. Just check “Published Report Cards” in Settings under the Parent/Student tab.

Comments: customer service has exceeded all expectation
Pros:
The interface is easy for administrators and for teachers, but the customer service has been most exceptional.
Cons:
Having to select the "populate classes" function for every individual class when adding a new student's schedule. Having an alternative that would allow me to build a schedule for a student would be much more efficient.

Comments: When we have had issues with Gradelink, their team immediately takes care of the issue. There are tweaks over the years we have made and they have been very accomodating.
Pros:
[sensitive content hidden] met with me recently through Zoom to show better ways our website can be effective. I appreciated the time he spent showing ways to help parents know what we are about.
Cons:
Report cards do not always turn out the way we want them. It still needs a little more tweaking.

Comments: Great customer service, questions are easily answered through website, overall great program.
Pros:
Customer service, I love some of the features including automatically calculating class averages.
Cons:
Contracts are not archived for previous school years (are able to download though), attendance records are a bit confusing to pull, sometimes communicate features do nit work properly.

Pros:
It's fairly easy to use and the customer service reps are very quick to respond and helpful.
Cons:
Some functions are tedious to set up or correct. Sometimes it is a challenge to send correctly formatted emails through SmartSend.

Pros:
Live support! They helped us tirelessly and in a professional manner at all times. Our successful launch and ongoing needs were a priority to their support team.
Cons:
2nd and 3rd party partners. Their payment partners did not provide the same customer service. However, when this was brought to Gradelink's attention, they remedied it speedily!

Pros:
The customer service was great, and the company does a great job protecting and backing up data.
Cons:
I have no significant complaints as of now. Sometimes, however, I notice that I'm unable to print an grade's report cards at once. I don't know if that is related to Gradelink or our technology at the school

I have spoken to [sensitive content hidden] several times for assistance with the Gradelinks product. I have to say, you have a gem in [sensitive content hidden] ! She was knowledgeable, courteous, and very customer oriented. [sensitive content hidden] responded quickly to my request for assistance, had the answers I needed, walked me through a specific set-up and actually took the extra time to make sure I had completed the set-up correctly! She was amazing!
Cons:
none applicable - I have been satisfied so far with the product and will be expanding it's use this year.

Pros:
All of the different functions that are available to you that I haven't even thought of.
Cons:
It is a little complicated to set up. I feel for certain functions in particular with the classes and grading, it gets very confusing for me.

Great product w/ excellent customer service.
Pros:
Gradelink has everything you would want from an SIS & more. You will not find a product in this market at a better value. Their customer service is knowledgeable, kind and quick to respond.
Cons:
Their customer service is located on the west coast -- which for us in the east, it means that they are there for you late in the afternoon and evening, after everyone else has gone home.

Comments: My experience with Gradelink so far has been very good. Something that I really like about this program is the support that I have been receiving when I have a question. Personally, I have worked with [sensitive content hidden] during these two years, he has been an enormous support for me. When I have a question, he supports me too much in solving anything. When I send him an email in less than a few hours, he is replying with a solution. For me this is what I liked the most about using the system since [sensitive content hidden] has been there to help me and has trained me a lot
Pros:
This is my second year working with Gradelink and so far I am very pleased with how easy this system is to operate. In the past I have worked using Power School and when compared to Gradelink it is extremely easy to use. I recommend it 100
Cons:
Honestly, so far I have liked everything about the system, the support that one has is excellent. When you have any doubt, you can also go and search in the same system, and you will find the solution easily. I like everything and I'm very happy
