"The way forward for GP users"

Comments: SalesPad offers the logical path for Dynamics GP users to become more efficient, take advantage of modern technology and grow their business with the least cost and effort

Pros: The software offers Microsoft Dynamics GP users an easy and natural evolution into modern technology. It spares GP users wishing to evolve their ERP the huge cost and disruption associated with changing from one ERP to another.

Cons: The software does not offer a start to end user experience. It still depends on the users performing sevarl back end processes directly in Dynamics GP

"Is okay, but is very limited on what it can do."

Pros: Does a good job of tracking and displaying history on sales of items, useful tool for determining reorder/manufacturing quantities.

Cons: Does not have very good reporting features. We tried to use this to manage inventory, but the only was is to literally go into each item and look at the history, it cannot give you a report of what you should manufacture/reorder. Finally we got StockIQ inventory management software to manage inventory. We still use Salespad though to print our Assemblie out of, etc....

"Evolving"

Comments: My experience up until a year ago was okay, but after attending SalesPad's User Conference, learning what all it could do, then coming back and implementing changes, enhancing our use of the product, has notched my overall opinion and experience up into the 'Great' range. Their implementation and support teams have been awesome to work with...that's a HUGE plus. Not necessarily being a technical person myself, it's always great to work with a team that strives to make the working relationship positive in every way. I cannot say that strongly enough, as I am also working with other software implementations teams that seem to thrive on making you feel like you are an irritation in their day.

Pros: Several things...user friendly, while still maintaining great functionality. Can be customized to meet our needs. No downtime :). The SalesPad team is constantly improving the product via updates to improve/enhance functionality and adding new features.

Cons: Honestly, I can't think of anything I dislike...except...add more colors/themes for the background. Enhance the darker themes, so you can see every sales line clearly. My people say changing the background makes it less boring :)

"Salespad Review"

Comments: We almost never have a problem with Salespad. It works and updates are flawless so far. With being able to customize almost everything it has been extremely helpful.

Pros: I like the functionality and the level of customization you have. You can write C# scripts to be run before and after work flows, which gives us a lot of flexibility. You can also write SQL Query between work flows to direct the order to different queues. You can also customize the layout and add User Defined fields, which we have used to get more information that just the defaults in Salespad.

Cons: Support could be a little more responsive. It takes a couple of days to get response sometimes and you can almost never get them to pick up phone. Salespad is also a little over whelming right out of the gate and takes little while to learn to the more advance stuff like writing C# scripts and Designing the Work Flow.

"A great front end for Microsoft GP"

Comments: We implemented SalesPad for ease of use by sales staff and purchasing personnel. It took the complexity of GP and made it simple for these front line staff.

Pros: Dashboard views, various ways to monitor and process batch information, workflow capabilities, ease of upgrades, unlimited user defined fields, and quick and easy sales analysis.

Cons: Doesn't always follow the same logic as GP, specifically with bill of materials transactions, and issues with regard to this functionality remain.

"Great for Salesperson order entry"

Comments: We mostly use the software to allow our salespeople to enter orders in a secure environment. It allows us to secure fields that we don't want salespeople to change and using workflow we can route orders through Credit checking and other processes. Signivicant savings on processing orders since the sales staff enter their own.
Also used by internal staff to process, ship and invoice orders.

Pros: Fully integration to Dynamics GP.
Somewhat customizable.
Simple to use for our salespeople.
Integrates with Sales Tax and credit card solutions.

Cons: Can be challenging to customize screens and functionality and modify reports.

"SalesPad Desktop makes working with MS Dynamic GP a breeze"

Comments: Customization was a year plus project, but after that very productive smooth sailing.

Pros: Simplicity in the user interface. What we didn't see in the product we were able to get through SalesPad customizations.

Cons: There is no way to save the user specified current column band settings in case they are lost accidentally by a misplaced keystroke or mouse move.

"SalesPad is a must for all GP Dynamic users"

Comments: Can't say enough about how spectacular the entire time with SalesPad has been. Installation and learning was a breeze and again support is out of this world. My new website integration is going to improve our customer support and cut costs for us in ways we can never imagine, thank you SalesPad

Pros: Functionality, ease of use, the custom aspects of your screens and also added features. The ability to create integrations with your website and the customer service is best in class. The support team can not be compared to anyone else out there; you have an issue they will work with you now, until it is resolved.

Cons: I can't think of a con except maybe that they would work with other accounting software programs or even better be stand alone.

"SalesPad is a must if you have Microsoft GP"

Comments: We came from an old, DOS-based system. When we converted to SalesPad, it felt as though someone lifted a blanket from over our heads. The visibility within the system and access to valuable information is awesome!

Pros: I particularly like the visibility, within the software, to view the workflow of the order process which makes Customer Service easy. Inputting orders is very easy. Customer Search is easy. The product is very user friendly. We converted to SalesPad at the same time we converted to GP and we love it!

Cons: Right now, we're in the process of converting to PayFabric for purposes of processing credit cards. We have a multi-store, heavy retail environment and had challenges with implementing Card Control. Out of the box, PayFabric isn't functioning within our test environment, but SalesPad's development team is looking into a solution.

"Amazing Software"

Comments: Thanks to SalesPad desktop, we have access to all information in 1 screen.
This helps us look very professional when talking to our customers.
We have their AR, open order, order history, all available from 1 screen.

Pros: We love the ease of use of this software, and it is affordable for small companies.
In the past we only had GP and it made the job of the salesforce very complicated.
Now, with a click of a button, we have all the necessary information for inventory, sales, etc.

Cons: I have nothing negative to say!
This is just the best investment we have made.

"Salespad Customization & Customer Support"

Comments: Experience using Salespad has been great. We continue to learn more how Salespad Desktop can support and meet our ERP needs.

Pros: We've been able to use this software for all of our manufacturing purposes, and allows us to customize our workflows by type of product and service. Further, we are in touch regularly with Salespad developers, sharing feedback on our needs from Salespad Desktop, which results in improvements to the program, as well as Salespad API. The Salespad API has been one of the most beneficial features that allows us to build our company around a web based infrastructure.

Cons: There are some features regarding the Salespad API that we need, and are not available yet. However, many are in development.

"Love SalesPad"

Comments: one problem solved was being able to generate specific reports for certain salesmen so they all didn't have to use the same report

Pros: I like the order entry screen and how easy it is to make changes to orders when necessary.

Cons: I don't like that inventory is not cumulative. We transfer inventory between warehouses and each transfer is listed by itself and not a cumulative total if the same lot is used.

"Wonderful, agile software solution"

Pros: I love the customer focus that the company as a whole portrays. They are always looking to their customers for how they can make the software more functional. The customer support is tremendous and we always feel like they care. I can not speak highly enough of the whole company.

Cons: Some customizations can be expensive if you really need them, but at least you know they will be done right.

"Our Salespad System"

Pros: This software is user friendly and training new staff on it is really easy.

Cons: We have the system having faults and it also has not kept all of our settings each time we log in and out. we wish that you could attach documents to PO and order confirmations

"Lots of function, hard to use and train employees"

Pros: The amount of information we use on the backside using GP is great.

Cons: It's hard to use and to train people to use. The functions are finicky. Returns and selling gift cards are ridiculous.

Pros: Salespad is very easy to use. Dependable, efficient. Provides quick and easy to use reports. Can be customized for your needs.

"Awesome Experience! Rep heard the concern I had and made sure I was able to get my issue resolved."

Pros: The simplicity of Salepad is what has always made it the perfect software for our business. We have been using it for many years and will continue to do so.

Cons: The UI could use a bit of modernization. It lacks polish but I think could be an even better product than what it is with a bit of polish.

Comments: We are going from several different accounting systems to a single source ERP system with SalesPad for order entry and GP as the accounting system.

Pros: The software is very flexible and has many features.

Cons: The software is heavily distribution/shipping company related. We are a worldwide company and have had to do much customization and bring in ISV to achieve the product we need as we continue to convert our business over to SalesPad/GP as our ERP system.

"Good product"

"Great Software"

Comments: I have used SalesPad for over 4 years now. Software is always coming out with new and useful features.

Pros: Better than only using GP. Better UI and easy to train others.

Cons: Would be nice to use SalesPad for many posting tasks rather than jumping back into GP.

"Good System"

Comments: Overall, I've had a positive experience. The sales rep for our area is a little tough to get a hold of, but the customer service folks are easy to reach.

Pros: I like the intuitiveness and that customer support is readily available. It's also kind of fun to have different themes for the background.

Cons: I wish it was more compatible with some of the other software we currently use, or that it offered a whole-pharmacy integration so we could ditch the other software programs we use. I'd also love to see a horse theme for the background.

"Salespad for retail wholesale"

Comments: Very good and very easy to pick up after just a few days.

Pros: Very good for looking at orders everything is right in front of you. You can even see orders 8 to 12 months out in the sales moniter

Cons: can be slow at times this needs an update. Usually slow when looking up inventory. importing the data was a pain.
