My experience using Zoho People

Pros:

What i like and what i use most in zoho people is its daily check-in and check-out feature that s how we can track time of our working, Second feture i liked most is its leave management which shows use how many leaves remaining and all the details about employees too

Cons:

sometimes i face issues while using it with my mobile devices. there has been some some glitches and bugs in mobile devices

Best feature list for HR software

Comments: Very good reliable feature rich and great value for money

Pros:

This one application can pretty much do everything you need for people management. Its LMS module alone is worth over $5/month if bought as a separate application from another provider. The app is very responsive and reliable which again is a massive feature as some HR softwares have a web version but not an actual app. Best of all Zoho has a family of products so those other apps are of use to you hen Zoho One which is all their apps is very good value for money

Cons:

Biggest cons are that it is not a HR software in the absolute sense of the word because it has no payroll feature outside of India and although it is feature rich implementation is difficult. Zoho deliberately have poor support so you are forced to use their expensive third party partners who will help set it up to your requirements. I used someone from fiverr which is a lot cheaper but the issue with that is they go AWOL after a few weeks and you have to find someone else

Working with ZOHO is a fantastic experience

Pros:

Zoho People has been an easy tool for everything an organization needs be it from time tracking to performance tracking everything can be done.

Cons:

Sometimes there are some backend issues that take time to get resolved.

Zoho People: Online Time Tracker of 2024

Pros:

With Zoho People, I am able to track time and expenses on projects. In addition, this tool offers online HR tools which help automate workflow for 24/7.

Cons:

It has poor backend integration capability although it offers nearly all tools that I require on a daily basis.

ZOHO People- Must Try

Comments: Good tool to use for mid cap companies. Free trial is helpful to make a decision.

Pros:

1. Its easy to use and learn 2. User Friendly 3. Can operate via app

Cons:

1. Advance settings are bit complicated 2. Takes time to update when there is a mass updates

Manage resources

Comments: Zoho People is an important tool with many benefits and uses. It's especially great for learning and training resources.

Pros:

I set up Zoho People quickly without frustration thanks to the user friendly and intuitive interface. I like that so many resources can be managed from one application and for a low price. Employee scheduling tracking and timesheets are some important features that beneft us They're easy to use and efficient.

Cons:

I've been frustrated with bugs and buffering (After following troubleshooting procedures and resets I determined that my computer and/or connection were not the problem)

Great app and website makes for a great experience

Pros:

Used in 2 organisations primarily for expense reporting and annual leave request. Very simple to setup. Wide range of feature. Great app which is a massive plus, but equally as good website.

Cons:

A great product with no negative comments to report

Easy to Use Time Logging App

Pros:

Very easy to navigate and log hours. Also easy to view my team and organisation's hours, too. Extracting data to Excel is a big plus for Zoho, as well.

Cons:

The inability for a user to remove a single days holiday is frustrating. Requires admin to delete and user has to reapply and get approved again. Smaill issue but annoying!

Zoho People

Comments: This product is good for every employee special if they are working at home. they can easily see their reports, time-tracking, leave applications, etc. make their attendance.

Pros:

It is easy to use and easy-to-understand product for someone who is using it for the first time. we can see the time-tracking, leave applications, reports, dashboards, etc. make the attendance for people who are working at home.

Cons:

sometimes this product wants to highly network connectivity which Is not possible all the time. and sometimes it is hung.

A must-try HR software

Comments: Zoho People's HR analytics tools can help you to make better decisions about your HR strategies by providing insights into your workforce.

Pros:

I do like Zoho People's employee self-service portal. It truly stands out by providing employees the autonomy to access their information and carry out tasks autonomously, fostering a sense of ownership that undoubtedly boosts their overall engagement.

Cons:

Zoho People is a good option for businesses that are looking for a basic HR software solution, but it may not be the best choice for businesses that need more advanced features.

Comprehensive HR Management Software

Pros:

I have been using Zoho People for several months now, and overall, I find it to be a comprehensive and user-friendly HR management software. The software offers a variety of features for managing employee information, tracking attendance and time off, and streamlining various HR processes.One of the things I appreciate about Zoho People is its customizability. The software allows us to customize various aspects of the system to fit our specific needs, including custom fields, workflows, and forms. This has saved us a lot of time and improved efficiency since we no longer have to manually track employee data in spreadsheets.

Cons:

However, there are a few drawbacks to Zoho People that I feel are worth mentioning. First and foremost, the pricing can be a bit steep, especially for smaller businesses or startups with limited budgets. Additionally, some of the more advanced features may require an additional fee, which can add up quickly for companies that need a lot of customization or integration with other software.Another potential drawback of Zoho People is its reporting capabilities. Best Review of Zoho

Comments: The overall experience is very good and it is easy to use and have the access. It has the best mobile access.

Pros:

It is very easy to use and also it has the easiest access.

Cons:

As of now, there is no such cons which I would have seen or use.

Too many customizable options make it clunky

Comments: When starting off using Zoho People and contacting customer support, I had thought they were a very small start-up company. I was very surprised later to find out that Zoho is a really big company that has a lot of other tools, which made it even more disappointing that their People tool was not as great as what I had hoped.

Pros:

We only use Zoho to do time off/leave management. It's pretty straightforward for time off/leave management and the basic plan makes it very affordable to just do this one thing.

Cons:

There are so many options to customize things that it was overwhelming and make it hard to set things up. We had wanted to do use it for performance management and timesheets, but we weren't able to set it up in a way that was helpful for us even with the customizations and contacting customer support. Customer support also wasn't as helpful/responsive as I would have hoped.

Excellent HR management Tool and Performance Management Tool

Pros:

For managing employees and leave requests, I use Zoho, and I'm pleasantly impressed by how simple it is to use. I can always discover important notifications like birthdays, Work anniversaries, Good news, updates from the company. Additionally, if I need it, I can always retrieve the personal details of every employee. Being an all-in-one tool is appealing to me. Everything an employer might possibly need is there. Every department has a tool, including IT, HR, accounts, and team management. We use this portal for Performance management. This tool is excellent for resolving cases of IT, HR, Accounts. We use to for off boarding and on boarding the new hires.

Cons:

Nothing has come to my attention that I would find objectionable. In my organisation, it is used to retain records of all employees and to post goals, HR announcements, policies, and other information. It is perfectly fulfilling its intended function. I just think sometimes it lags while checking out from the application

Perfect application to keep track of the employees and their performances.

Comments: Overall this is one of the best application to track all the happenings in your company. We use this in our company to check the employees growth and their performances. We can check each employee's attendance and their leaves which is very good.

Pros:

The dashboard is very good and we can customize it using various templates available. The HR can keep track of the in-time and out-time of the employees, can check the time they spent on completing a task or an event. We can use this application on any device which is very helpful.

Cons:

The mobile application is a bit outdated and lags a lot. The user interface is a bit confusing, especially for the administrator and can be improved. More templates can be added and more customisation options needed for the dashboard.

Easy to Use HRMS tool

Pros:

1. Mobile application availability. 2. Simple and easy to use. 3. Gain complete transparency over the workforce in the organization.

Cons:

1. Speed of the Mobile app needs an improvement. 2. UI could get better. 3. Customer support could improve their turnaround time.

Best app for your employees

Comments: Non intrusive, robust and easy to use hr tool.

Pros:

This app is great for companies that don't have a clock in/out system, a file repository per each employee for HR documents and a company calendar with events or things that will be done in the company per employee. It's a valuable resource since it also provides geolocation limits so you can check where your employees are clocking in and out and securely host important documents like tax forms for your employees. You can also use it to tabulate the work hours an employee has made for the week or month and export it for you to use with any payroll programs. You can also keep track of personal days, vacation days and sick days. This is basically the best suit for managing employees. It has a mobile app as well! So you can clock in and out or view your documents on the go.

Cons:

The mobile app can be a little buggy sometimes, they patch it a lot. But the geolocation feature, it's a little buggy since they've done improvements, because in the past you could spoof the location by faking the GPS coordinates, but now you cannot do that since it does some work with the IP Addresses to triangulate where you are, but sometimes it gets the location of the ISP and not from where you are, so sometimes you will have problems checking in and out.

Comments: The overall experience is great with Zoho, haven't used such software before this, so this feels amazing

Pros:

It is easy to use. The UI of the software is amazing. It has a bunch of extraordinary features all in one place.

Cons:

The Announcement feature seems to be underdeveloped, as it looks simple & has a delay after publishing the announcement.

Comments: It is easing down going through different apps, it has integrated HR management, self management, ticketing tool, performance management etc.

Pros:

It is a great tool to track your performance and set your goals. It is very efficient which self management to track your attendance, apply for leaves, & reimbursement. We can also raise tickets using zoho.

Cons:

No, I am highy satisfied with the services.

User friendly software

Pros:

I have been using this software since 2019.It is very smooth to use. From Employee managament to Attendance Tracking in time sheet , you get them all in zoho people.You can also apply for leave ,regulise your time , track your meetings, files and form handling through online.There is one more option named as 'Raise grevience' , here you can add any of problem you facing through work and it directly connect to HR so you will get the solution in 2-3 hrs.

Cons:

Sometimes it didn't show your balance leaves and time regulisation may took time.

Zoho - All in One HR Tool

Comments: The overall experience with Zoho people is really good.

Pros:

Zoho has made it easy to measure the performance of the employee. The best features of Zoho are attendance tracking, regularizing the attendance, tracking the holidays and leaves, and performance measurement.

Cons:

There are no aspects of the products that are difficult to use, however, there should be some modifications while we measure one's performance. for example, while selecting a rater who has worked with us only on 1 project can rate us only on that.

Your One-Stop HR Portal

Comments: I really like the features that it has and that it is easy to use. I would definitely invest in it if I had my own company.

Pros:

It's like having my own personal HR administrator on my laptop. Easy to use, to find documents or information that I need and to record information. Very easy to keep track of my working hours whilst working from home during the pandemic and the mobile app is fantastic.

Cons:

Its kind of hard to use from an administration perspective initially, but once you get used to it - its much easier.

HR helper and organizer

Comments: Saved us a lot of time and manual work when it comes to people related HR operations. In the moment where our growth expanded, Zoho People simplified and automated bunch of things we tracked internally in some other tools.

Pros:

Feature-set that we use complements our HR needs. Zoho People simplifies the most of the people organization, vacation and holiday tracking, leave and remote work management.

Cons:

User experience could be improved, but recently they introduced new UI which I am checking atm, so hopefully this will be better.

Amazing Software

Comments: We have our goals set every month and we know what we are targetting for. It's user friendly and the best thing is that it's easily accessible via phone.

Pros:

Timely reminder to check-in and out. Very easy to use.We can keep track o our leaves , goals and performance. Perfect for everything.

Cons:

It's the best with no flaws at all. Nothing needs changes.
