Excellent for hospice and palliative care
Pros:
E-prescribing is the only feature that I use and it is excellent. It makes EPCS easy and allows my staff to assist me with preparing the prescriptions for my review and authorization.
Cons:
The web interface could be better as well as the process to add and administer users.
Awesome Product
Pros:
Ease of use! Templates for charting are awesome!
Cons:
There is really nothing I do not lije about the product.
Developed by health insurances....
Comments: worse. So bad that I want to change company. The problem is that we are in a weak position, to the cost as result of their poor performance and neglect to the needs of their customers (assuming that health providers are their customers and not insurances), has to be added the cost of a transition and the integrity of data. If a healthcare provider offers their service with a similar performance Rxnt gives, licences would be suspended.
Pros:
Price. No other thing to mention because time is money and direct patient care. Rxnt performance takes away such valuable times. Then, not even price is good.
Cons:
Slow, frequent changes in the system that are followed by poor performance, system drops or freezes often, lag time from page to page, worsened year by year, do not solve problems, results in longer administrative times in detriment of productive work. Adds to the complex system used by health insurances to obstruct access to the services they offer, delay payments, etc. Health care time is spent in two areas: patient care and administrative documentation. The more administrative time on each patient, the less productive time, the lowest the number. The goal of technology is to gain in efficiency, to at least produce more in les time. RXNT is the opposite, really I would not be surprised if it is owned by one of the health insurance corporation.
Best Billing Software
Pros:
Very easy to use and user-friendly. I am so excited about this as it
Cons:
Nothing I don't like. I love it! It is very easy to use and work with.
Alternatives Considered:
RXNT is an amazing EHR/EMR and e-script software!
Comments: Overall, RXNT has been great and I don’t plan on switching to any other software.
Pros:
The features that are most impactful are the east to use patient templates and the easy prescribing with a hard or soft token
Cons:
I don’t feel RXNT is missing any features that I needed.
Alternatives Considered:
Excellent source for electronic prescriptions
Comments: very happy to use this product. All the trasnferring prescription or pharmacy identification were always corrected the same day or within the hour.
Pros:
the ease and immediate technical support, if needed.
Cons:
none I have no problems with the system. I have not have any issues with the system that were not corrected.
Dr C. Ziomek
Comments: Good in general. It is really nice to get faxes directly into RXNT.
Pros:
Ability to e-prescribe and the ability to make notes without templates.
Cons:
After an encounter is printed out the words are too small to read easily. It would also be helpful to be able to chose what to print to give to the patient, for example, just the assessment and plan. It would be helpful to be able to move from one encounter to another for a given patient more easily when reviewing their prior appointments.
Overall very good in function
Comments: Very good bust slow on showing data sheet for patient
Pros:
Ease of access and efficiency and capable of executing anywhere and have records under previous. Also avoid mailing prescriptions
Cons:
Do wish show phone number of patient beside birthday on face sheet
Hospice POV
Pros:
Easy to navigate the app. Easy to find the information needed for medications.
Cons:
Not all medications are in RXNT data base. Need formulary medications as well as compound medications. Need to add concentrated medications to data base.
RXNT used for Hospice
Comments: I have been able to profile new Nurses relatively quickly and anytime I call Customer Service, I get a human voice. That makes a real difference to me!
Pros:
I like to e prescribing feature within RXNT. This allows our nurses to profile medications so family can pick them up at neighborhood pharmacies.
Cons:
I have had staff nurses report that RXNT is hard to get established with, but I feel that is in part to lack of use.

Krogstad Review
Comments: I rank this software very high overall compared to other billing and EHR software systems and the support as well as the chat process is very highly rated
Pros:
The ease of use and the ability to work within the system without having to move from a lot of different screens. Your support staff is awesome and incredibly knowledgeable, I really appreciate that
Cons:
1. I think the billing processes are overall good but there is a lag time in processing as the day goes on. 2. posting payments has been slower lately. 3. need to indicate in the EHR what office you are in on the header. 4. please add the date of birth next to the patient on all screens. 5. Customized preferences do not always save as defaults, you have to keep selecting them. An example is the insurance payments screen. The payment amounts are way to the left and I have a customized view and select default but it never saves. When I go back into the screen it has reset. 6. Custom preferences are sometimes overwritten or do not save 7. In billing, if I save a claim from a different location other claims after it also default to that location. 8. Custom reports are difficult to create and are not as easy to create as they should be. Also, the options needed for custom reporting are not always available
wonder why there were no current users!
Comments: The best way to describe is the sales team doesnt talk to implementation team and so sales happily tells you everything you want to hear but the implementation team calls you to say "I'm sorry I have to call sales to let them know they were wrong". non stop hurdles in training and ultimately not able to use the product. a waste of time being trained in modules when your templates/patient info/ super bills/fee were not put in because they are short staffed.
Pros:
seems to be up to date with some EHR eatures
Cons:
issues with onboarding and length of time. you would be trained on how to open patient files but ur files were still not updated...trainings were very robotic and if your info wasn't in system they recorded the training so you could go back and train yourself. the purpose was basically to just "check" the box that you were trained whether or not you got anything out of it. reps not always available I go the impression the company is very understaffed. some bait and switches when you sign up so be careful. This is not what I thought and I will look for another company.
Unreliable
Comments: If I had a choice, or a say in our practice using this software, I would change it ASAP.
Pros:
The price of the software is better than most, but you get what you pay for.
Cons:
The fact that you don't know if it going to work properly when you 'try" to log in. When they update something, 2-5 other things don't work properly.
Makes charting easier
Comments: Rxnt so far has been a great experience for our office.
Pros:
Our providers say that it is the easiest they have found when it comes to charting progress notes. They love the option of having check boxes.
Cons:
More steps for the office girls then what they had with practice fushion, was the only con we had.
Future Market
Comments: I am an 80 year old physician with nearly 50 years of practice and a career that included having been an Assistant Prof of Medical Computer Science at Yale in 1970 - 1980 My mentor Shannon Brunjes MD, said to me in 1969 "When medical and IT people get together they will just want to automate the status quo." That prophesy has turned out to be more true that we imagined. RxNT suffers from that truth only in a few small ways that come with the scarce wiggle room of an application so central to medicine as prescription writing. RxNT does every thing - just about - possible to tame the chaos that has existed in prescription writing where the standards have so often been really messy in the status quo. Three cheers for that. On the other hand the status quo in medicine is changing. Name-it, blame-it, tame-it prescription pad medicine is giving way to choices doctors and patients are making for what we call Functional or Integrative medicine where prescriptions are more and more aimed at the individual and less at the disease. Such prescriptions are more likely to be compounded and may include fewer pharmaceuticals and favor other strategies that will be much more effective in favoring Nature's buoyant impulse toward healing. They, therefore, belong right up there with drugs in the documents that doctors use to communicate with doctors. (see Cons below)
Pros:
Once I got the hang of it - thanks to Morgan Deitz - i find the program so much better than what I have had for prescribing that its incomparable.
Cons:
Doctors who belong to my Functional or Integrative tribe will, when using RxNT find themselves frequently visiting the Utilities /Medication Management feature very often to build up their own list of prescriptions that are both different by more tailored than RxNT's "behind the counter" selections. Your marketing will benefit from feedback from the data showing that kind of use and your staff will need to find ways to get access to those selections without sending them out behind the Utilities wood pile to an interface that should be easier to use especially when it comes to generating sigs that can be more easily re-used for, say, compounded HRT mixtures of E2, E3, DHEA, Pregnenolone, Progesterone and Testosterone. This can be done without scaring conventional doctors but it will take some finesse on the part of your design team to protect conventional eyes averted from nutrients and nutriceutcals. On another point the notion that prescription drugs are real medicine and the other stuff is questionable at best or the devil's work at worst will be fading in the coming generation of doctors who will welcome the idea that every thing in the patient's plan deserves the title of "prescription" so. The special status of prescription drugs is understandable when it comes to controlled substances. It should be understood as "special" with respect to many other pharmaceuticals because they are dangerous. Natural substances are often much stronger in the sense of promoting healing and should have a status on your website (some day) that is consistent with that reality. The fact that your checklist does not include Functional Medicine or Integrative Medicine or Functional/Integrative Medicine for "Industry" (which is weird as a header for what is mostly a list of specialties) should be corrected. There are lots of us out here and more coming. At the very least it would be a good marketing tool to know about what we do.

RXNT review
Comments: Well and worth the purchase
Pros:
Ease and cheapness to of EHR. Also the physician had used this software before
Cons:
Meaningful use is limited, MACRA/ MIPPS limited
Poor customer service
Comments: They are very eager to set you up with their products but once you work with it and realize that they have a lot of issues in all areas (EHR, PM and scheduling) they shut down on responding to the issues. Months go by before you hear from support. They also have terrible pricing on full site options and many don’t work well. Biggest issue is will billing software. Lots of glitches and can mess up your AR quickly.
Pros:
Cloud based EHR with easy access. Multi site option.
Cons:
Terrible customer service and support. Disjointed and frankly they could care less how their product is effecting you practice.
Only use for cloud storage
Comments: Poor. Implementation was clunky, the templates still are not correct, and customer service has been apathetic at best and generally unresponsive to customer needs. Would not recommend. Looking in to switching, which will be onerous to switch over all chart records - but this is clearly not designed for ease of use and client support.
Pros:
Should - in theory - be easy to use, however, there are many flow problems and steps that make it not entirely user-friendly. It's a glorified Cloud storage solution.
Cons:
Do not expect your needs to be met efficiently or any problems addressed quickly. Customer support has - by far - been an arduous experience using this product. The faxing system is frequently broken or down, thus crippling practice flow. No care on the part of the support team, still has not been resolved in over a month, leading my practice to find another solution for faxing chart records - as we can no longer fax directly from the patient chart. Support does not reply and does not send updates as to when we might expect a resolution, thus leaving the problem in limbo.
Terrible customer support when you need it most
Comments:
Terrible when you have a problem after hours or on weekends
ds
Pros:
Works good when it does. Real issues arise when it stops working as it is designed and you need help to get it back up and running in a timely fashion
Cons:
I experienced a bug in the system over a holiday weekend starting at 2 pm Friday afternoon until MOnday Moring. I was hindering in prescribing palliative meds for dying patients all weekend long. Absolutely no response from tech support during this time. When they finally responded via e-mail 72 hours later, they sent me videos that did not address my issues and closed my case. For a service that is vital to medical practice that operates 24/7, I expect competent tech support that I can access 24 7.
Nice, complete package
Pros:
For the most part all the modules work well together and makes it easy to find information between the modules.
Cons:
Reports and queries could have more options to choose from. I would also like to see the ability to show the insurance care in the billing module so that certain insurances could be billed out together by grouping them instead of opening up each one individually. Would also like the ability to change or delete the Park Encounters grouping names. Encounters from the EHR should not be allowed to be released when still in Draft form. Dx codes from the Encounter should all pull over to the claim. System should warn when a duplicate encounter is created in the EHR and the billing, or if a patient cancelled or rescheduled appointment, a claim should not be allowed to be created.
RxNT
Comments: Overall, satisfied.
Pros:
Easy to use, available for mobile use--helps with after hour requests.
Cons:
I cannot get the technical department to contact me. The font in the software is too large and I am unable to see a full prescription in the panels for Pending and Pending Requests from the Pharmacy. They are now telling me I need to contact an IT person because changing the font under settings in my computer does not affect the font in RxNT!!! Need more reasons for voiding a prescription--the ones given sound like the patient is at fault which is often not the case. Way too easy to have two profiles for one patient (when a pharmacy sends in a request vs. when we enter the patient) over a minute discrepancy--i.e., one has listed the home phone and the other has listed the cell phone, but address, name, and birthdate are all the same. Trying to figure out the discrepancy and getting the two files merged is sometimes impossible!

Cons:
Lack of demographic information and outcome data.
Great EMR
Pros:
The ease of charting and writing prescriptions
Cons:
The chart notes aren’t available on the mobile app
wish there was more support
Comments: Like many of the features but they are very glitchy and updates are slow.
Pros:
Online records management and online access
Cons:
Customer service is poor. It's impossible to get help especially if you need it quick.
Using RXNT in my practice
Comments: As long as they bring the 2 page option back , it is a great softwear.
Pros:
Integration of billing, scheduling, medical records and prescription
Cons:
Unable to open more than one billing page for reference. This feature was present and has been taken out by RXNT. why would you remove such a good feature I hope you bring it back. one page is for reference and other to work on. it is causing major headache.
