About Salesforce Revenue Cloud
Take your revenue to new heights. Sell and bill on one platform. Configure, Price, and Quote complex deals all on the world's #1 CRM.
For a mid to large stage company, this is definitely a required feature and the native SFDC integration makes it easy to consume.
I know it was quite difficult to implement for my team. It took a few months to have it completely built out.

Efficiency in a nutshell
Comments: It was perfectly efficient and straightforward.
Pros:
I don't think I came into a single problem with Salesforce.
Cons:
The layout is not incredibly attractive, but it's not too outdated, either.
Organized System for Data
Comments: Overall I’m happy with my experience using Salesforce
Pros:
I love the tracking of historical data and ability to run reports
Cons:
It’s a bit of a learning curve to understand how to use the program
CPQ requires a lot of clicks and is far from intuitive
Comments: It streamlines approvals somewhat, and makes for a more standardized quoting system, so I understand the business reasons for switching to it, but from an end user perspective, it has been a huge pain to use.
Pros:
The thing I like the most about CPQ is that it allows me to keep multiple quotes attached to one opportunity a lot easier. There are also some great ways to add multiple products and makes that aspect of quoting easier.
Cons:
CPQ was recently introduced at my org and it is so cumbersome to work through. It requires a lot of clicks and updating price/making price changes is very difficult. Creating a quote used to take me about 5 minutes and now it takes about 20 depending on the complexity. Maybe I'll get used to it and more familiarized, but it definitely isn't intuitive or efficient.
Salesforce revenue review
Pros:
Streamlines the quoting process, allowing sales teams to configure products, set prices, and generate quotes quickly.
Cons:
Users often report a steep learning curve, requiring significant training to utilize all features effectively.
Beneficial and Great Overall
Comments: I have been using Salesforce for over a year now and have enjoyed the variety of tools and features that the software uses. It's great to be able to use anywhere on any computer. The built in tools help us target our customers and receive analytics on each client.
Pros:
I loved that the software does the work for me.
Cons:
It takes time to get used to and work through.
Amazing product
Comments: Amazing helps me see everything at once.
Pros:
Guided quoting and AI Contract lifecycle management Product catalog management Price management Transaction management Dynamic revenue orchestration Fast payment collection Automated electronic payments Automated customer notifications Dunning process flows
Cons:
The steps to get to each category. Wish it was a little more simple
Salesforce Revenue Cloud is Top of the Line!
Pros:
Team oriented software that saves all of the company's info, great software.
Cons:
Nothing, everything is great about this service.
Salesforce Revenue Cloud honest review
Comments: It has been very good, have been using this for more than a year now
Pros:
It is easy to navigate and use unlike other services
Cons:
I guess there are too many options in one place, maybe they can divide them into categories
Salesforce is essentially
Comments: Overall, Salesforce was an essential tool in allowing me to help clients and access the needed information at all times.
Pros:
I liked its ease of use and accessibility, especially friendly design to those new in accounting.
Cons:
I disliked that sometimes things were made unnecessarily complicated.
Salesforce Winner!

Allows to manage my own pipeline Gives an overall view of all sales colleagues activity Easily transferrable from CRM system (Sage) Great reporting tools Allows to track and chase quotes easily
Cons:
No prompting or calendar to track sales/quotes Slightly overpriced
CPQ for us
Comments: In general we are very pleased with the results from adding CPQ to our ERP.
Pros:
CPQ provides the sales team with a stable and dependable tool for creating complicated quptes.
Cons:
It was NOT easy to set up and it is not intuitive - it requires training and persistence.
Its Awesome! Make your complex business process very user friendly
Comments: Its Awesome! Make your complex business process very user friendly
Pros:
Its Awesome! Make your complex business process very user friendly
Cons:
Need highly experts in CPQ for all development and deployment procedure
Incredible quoting tool cover all our exception cases.
Comments: Our product array is huge and our discounts system is complicated, we needed a tool which can handle most of our exception cases. CPQ can leverage most of our requirement.
Pros:
It is very easy and user friendly, even if you're new you can grasp easily. We have so many different SKUs, pricing from different product families, various discounts etc all are been taken and we are happy. Multiyear quoting, contracted pricing and others are very simple using CPQ
Cons:
Contracted pricing isn't flowing from partner to customer account. Incremental quote for Multi year deals should be made available with CPQ rather with CPQ plus.
Robust CPQ solution for Salesforce users
Comments: This tool makes life so much easier for your sales team and eliminates a lot of risk that is inherent to having your quoting process be done via excel, etc.
Pros:
It is a powerful and fairly robust CPQ solution that makes the lives of your Sales team that much easier. For growing businesses, it makes it that much easier to scale your business with a structured quoting process.
Cons:
Because the tool is so robust and the quoting process is often complex, it is imperative to have a strong implementation firm with CPQ specific expertise. This can be expensive.

A necessary piece, but a struggle
Comments: Accurate and updated quoting to make sure numbers are accurate between finance and sales.
Pros:
Salesforce CPQ allows for out sales reps to build out quotes and communicate the dollar amounts to finance within Salesforce
Cons:
It seems like the CPQ functionality is constantly breaking when one attempts to edit a quote once it is created.
Salesforce CPQ User review
Pros:
Bundling of sub products and accessories with specific price points was an important consideration for us while selecting Steelbricks CPQ. They have most of the business scenarios covered out of the box.
Cons:
CPQ has a steep learning curve. However, once you spend the initial hours in the training , you get better at it. It took us time to train the inside sales to configure products themselves for standard bundles.
Great Standardization Tool - Big Learning Curve
Comments: Overall it's fantastic to have a tool that allows for consistent and professional quoting -- but it took probably 2 months of regular working sessions (1-2 times a week) with our entire team to get everybody up to speed on it.
Pros:
Once you get it figured out, it's easy to modify, add, and make it work for whatever we need it to do for us on the Quoting side of things. The customizability is nice and adaptable for our rates that change with trends and easy to add new items into our model as we add more languages to our business.
Cons:
Much of our pricing is based around a "per word" model, and discounting our "per word" rate by $.01-$.02 was really difficult for our teams to figure out for several months.
New CPQ User
Comments: Too many steps with previous platform to send a contract and too many required fields.
Pros:
CPQ has been an easy way to get quotes out and quickly make changes versus the old software we were using. CPQ generates documents quickly for me to send out and adding in different products has never been easier.
Cons:
Some growing pains with CPQ as we roll it out across the team but much better than our previous solution.
lots of room for improvement. but not much competition
Comments: It works, well 95% of the time. It does have scaling limitations though, so big opportunities chug. Still, it is the best thing we have found right now
Pros:
it works well for the most part, and it is pretty intiuitive
Cons:
scaling. large opportunities just don't work very well yet
Need more detail for set up
Comments: My involvement with SteelBrick was working on setting up the SKUs with the configurations that were set up by the IT team. Most of the training and knowledge transfer time with Etherios was designated to the configuration set up, but no time was allocated to showing us how to upload new SKUs moving forward. Templates or configuration names and fields were not provided. When asking Etherios for the documentation multiple times, they had said they would not leave us high and dry. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened. It took our project manager to reach out to SteelBrick directly to request this documentation. It would be very difficult for any company to continue managing their system with this software without instruction on how to maintain new information moving forward. With regards to the set up that was done by SteelBrick for the quoting portion of the software, it seems that Sales is efficiently and effectively using it.
Steelbrick Review
Comments: Better than most CPQ tools for long term SaaS contracts. It has a few bugs to work out still, but is a young and quickly growing company.
Exceptional Customer Support for a Powerful Tool
Comments: We've had Quote Quickly for about four years now, and have had an excellent experience so far. It does what we need it to do, is flexible, and the support is one of the best in our portfolio of vendors. It fit a perfect storm of value and functionality (not too simple/small, but not too big/complex), and we plan to continue to invest. One minor con is we'd like to see an even more simple user interface that what we have today.
Success with Quotes
Comments: The software helps making the quoting the process more efficient, and elimantes potential errors on the data entry side. Looking to expand the application accross all entities - but the large inventory globally and product lists are prohibiting expansion through this application. Would like to grow with Steelbrick but need to address some of the hurdles first.
Amazing tool to streamline sales quote process!!
Comments: Great application, allowed us to standardize & improve the accuracy of our quotes. Allowing us to track our client needs from request, implementation to go-live. Can't wait to see the future improvements as we continue to streamline sales from opportunity to renewal.
Easy to use and customize.
Comments:
Pros:
1. Lot of features
2. Easy to configure
3. Easy to customize and add products.
Cons:
1. Sometimes get complicated and need to contact support
2. Need a user guide or knowledge book
