Best Church Presentation Tool

Comments: It is a wonderful tool and never regret recommending and using it for our church projections

Easyworship is "Easy"

Comments: I've been using Easyworship 6 for several years and have recently upgraded to version 7. I wish that I would have done it sooner! I am a very satisfied customer.

Pros:

1. User friendly which is important when training new volunteers. 2. One license covers several installations at a Church, home or elsewhere. 3. Direct link to Songselect making the download of lyrics easy and automatic reporting of song usage is a no brainer. 4. Direct link to media that can be used for countdowns, song themes, scripture themes, etc. 5. On-line training videos make it easy for a new volunteer to learn the basics and more advanced features fo the software. 6, On-line streaming capability. 7. On-line support when needed is helpful. 8. The interface just works. It's so easy to understand. 9. Multiple outputs. Currently we use 3 different outputs. 10. Powerful search tool make finding worship songs or Bible scriptures a simple task.

Cons:

1. This is not the fault of the software, but the complexity of hardware and software integration is beyond the capabilities of the average user or volunteer, especially with respect to on-line streaming. There are so many options that depend not only on budget but also on the ability of staff and/or volunteers to implement it.

Beginner to the scene

Comments: Dependable. Has the fancy bells and whistles but simple if you need it.

Pros:

We love the integration with SongSelect. We love the easy to use design.

Cons:

We don’t like that they changed to a monthly membership instead of buying the program for one time.

Good Price, good features but signifiant problems

Comments: I've been using this software since Dec 2014. Then, the version was "Easy Worship 2009". It was a great product at a great price. But EW redesigned the product to add more features, called it "Easy Worship 6". It was full of bugs and lacked many features many people loved in EW2009, "checking for changes" and basic "copy/paste/undo" commands. The new features of EW6 was the creation of "themes". Nice, but not necessary. I endured EW6 and the many patches. It became stable in Dec 2017 and they brought back "check for changes". However, in late 2017, they decided to make the product subscription based. We decided to go with an annual subscription in June 2018. The product has been working great, allowing me to mix PowerPoint, EW7 created choruses, scripture, video and even web pages. Then sometime betw 11/24/18 and 12/01/18, the product stopped working. EW7 believed I was not an active subscriber even after both EW staff and myself verified our registration. Support was not very helpful. They asked the standard questions - did you receive an update from Windows or any other product? Can you restore your computer to a point in time when EW7 was working? Seriously? Finally, support pushed a beta copy of the next release to me and EW7 worked again. 3 days later, the same problem re-occurred. It has not been resolved.

Pros:

1. It was the most feature-rich product for the price. Now, the product has too many bugs to consider it "reasonably priced". 2. I liked the "check for changes" options as it allows multiple people to contribute to a worship schedule. However, you have to manually start it. It used to be automatic. 3. I like how you can import PowerPoint presentations with all the basic PowerPoint controls. 4. I like how well you can mix audio, PowerPoint and EW7 created media in the same schedule.

Cons:

1. Support is average. They believe the only way to solve a problem is to login to your computer and take control, not acceptable. 2. You can't export the text of anything you create in EW7. So, if you create 200+ songs in EW7 you can't port them to somewhere else. All you can do is export a list of songs or open each song and copy all the text. 3. Even after multiple releases of EW6 and EW7, PowerPoint presentations will sometimes stop working. The PP slides turn black and instead of seeing 12 separate slides, you only see 1 black slide. 4. If you resize the Application screen, EW7 will not remember how you sized the panels the next time you start it up. 5. You can run an audio travt in the background while you display a video or image file.

Why EasyWorship has Merited a 5 Star Rating

Comments: On a week by week by week basis; EasyWorship enhances our worship. If there have been any issues (which have been few); the support team are quick to respond and help.

Pros:

EasyWorship is very convenient for worship services. It is possible to load all media onto the system together so the transition from song; bible readings; videos is seamless. The support from EasyWorship is excellent. In addition to the training videos and information videos, there is a facility to raise issues with a support team, who are always knowledgable and patient.

Cons:

There is nothing that we dislike about EasyWorship. As with any IT the user needs to study how to use it properly. The training videos are excellent for this.

Easy to use app

Comments: It s a really easy to use software, you can display with it almost everything you want. Although it leaks some advanced features, in my opinion it's the best app/presentation software for smaller-medium sized churches or for everybody who does not have very specific requirements.

Pros:

It's very easy to use aoftware. It supports many filetypes. You can present media, presentation, scriptures and obviously song lyrics. Very friendly UI and you can learn it very fast. It supports stage display which is very helpful for us.

Cons:

It is not as complex as propresenter, you can t very change what is displayed on the stage screen. It would be also helpful a feature where you can rearrange temporarily a song (like in propresenter)

I Found EasyWorship Just in Time!

Comments: As a fairly new user to EasyWorship our first month of use has been great. There's no turning back to how we used to run our worship services! EasyWorship has made it easier for the volunteers and also the pastor.

Pros:

EasyWorship is very easy to use and there are many help videos if you were to need them.

Cons:

I didn't know about EasyWorship! A family member told me about it. I wish I had discovered it or seen ads for it sooner.

EasyWorship Easy to do once you learn how

Comments: I have been using this for more than a month now. It is almost perfect (I would rate it 4.5 instead of 5) but it is labor-intensive when you have to create newer presentations. The Scripture tab should have an option to go back to the previous scriptures quoted without having to type it over and over again since I go through dozens of passages in a single sermon or at least have the option for the main scripture passage. I would heartily recommend it to any church considering it. Please make sure that you go through the helpful videos a few times before you get started and it will save a considerable amount of time.

Pros:

It is easy to set it up once you get through the learning curve. Love the ability to download the songs through CCLI to add them to the library and thus to the schedule.

Cons:

You can't copy and paste from previous schedules. You have to insert the whole schedule and delete the portions that you don’t need, which gets irritating. The basic version should have more motion graphics available rather than just one. If you use them regularly in your schedule, you have to create multiple presentations to keep the flow of the service.

A great and easy-to-use worship product for all size churches!

Comments: Very helpful to our small church ministry. A very stable software and help plug-ins and license info, etc. all within the program.

Pros:

It is so easy to use and to teach to other operators (especially some who have never operated AV before). It is interactive (online resources, etc.). On Premium there is so much to make use of in preparing schedules (Backgrounds, add-ins, etc.). WHAT I LIKE MOST IS THE EASY AND EFFECTIVE LINK WITH SONG SELECT (using our CCLI license).

Cons:

Perhaps not enough available on the Basic subscription. I am willing to move from Basic to Premium. The extra cost will be worth it.

Easy Worship Review

Comments: i found it easy to use and learn. nothing too hard or stressful

what i like about it is that i can style it on my own for the songs and when my pastor says the verses i can directly put it on my screen without typing it the night before.

Cons:

what i like east is purchasing the bible versions separately instead of coming it in a pack

Pretty Easy Worship

Comments: Easyworship is, well, easy. It's a great tool for churches in almost every aspect of presentation, and in general whether you use it for church or not it's a great piece of software. It's simple and dynamic, rich in features and even fairly compatible with streaming. Scripture flows out as consistent as water (if you're fast enough on the keys) and worship is as easy to be executed as to the level of leadership and pre planning as the worship team has. It's got some quirks and bugs, but overall they can be overlooked. Easyworship is nice, and I believe it is a good investment for whatever your needs are, simply because of it's simplistic nature.

Pros:

Easyworship does not lack the features, it does not make you watch hours of tutorials and it does not give you a headache...most of the time. It's easy to edit, easy to get scripture, easy to make your announcements and import lyrics, and it's easy to display. One media is imported, it's easy to access and even filter through files to find exactly what you need. CCLIs are easy in, and easy to edit for your Worship teams specifications. You can shotgun, or preset scripture for the fast or patient preachers. And it's even got a built in web function for all your non downloaded needs.

Cons:

If you use OBS or another streaming platform to livestream your services, you'll probably find it difficult to format the auxiliary output for 1/3rd lyrics and or scriptures, and as of this moment we're still trying to figure out how to get it right. PDFs you cannot import unfortunately. Also importing files in general take a bit longer, but it's not terrible. The transition between slides sometimes don't work from my experience, although it could be just the lack of the lyrics being formatted right.

We breathe better NOW, after we started using the program

Comments: Very rested that the program is one of our tools. Solves so much in each of our service events.

Pros:

Multiscreen support Quick Search and Compose. Integration with our live streaming software A wide array of library content! Stable with good performance.

Cons:

A little expensive User Interface is a little archaic

I Like Easy Worship

Comments: We have been happy using Easy Worship. There is so much more capability in Easy Worship that we are not using. Plan on slowly adding new EW options in the future.

Pros:

With version 7, it is stable and reliable.

Cons:

Do not have anything to speak of. I'd say the length of time it took to upgrade from ver 6 to ver 7. But, I would rather them take their time to do a proper rewrite and test then to rush an imperfect product to the public like some companies do. So not really a dislike.

Yeah, I'd recommend it

Comments: The learning curve was not too bad at all. The entire concept of "Go Live" vs "Live Output" was a little sketchy but we caught on fairly quickly.

Pros:

Ease of adding scripture; appearance of the song lyrics and ease of adding nice looking backgrounds to everything

Cons:

No transitions on bullet points on native presentations

Comments: Excellent and speedy (considering the time difference between the UK and USA) support, and help with problems (not that I've had many problems).

Pros:

Very easy to set up and use. Also easy to train a 'Newbie' to operate

It being a subscription licence rather thanapurchase licence as were previous versions of EasyWorship

It is very easy to set up our worship service song slides. It is also easy to use our pdf files with the slide show.

Cons:

Nothing everything works as advertised. Once you learn how to use the program.

Easy worship for church presentation

Comments: Its has made media and presentation easier in the church.

Pros:

It is an easy to use software, then the pe-programed songs in the database make it easier to follow the template of adding new songs.

Cons:

The version we use does not have the ability to have livestreaming. if that could be added it would be great.

Easy Worship Review

Comments: Great product. Love that it now reports automatically to Song Select for the reporting of song usage...and that song importation from Song Select is so much easier with this version.

Pros:

Easy to use and creates a professional presentation for use every week during worship.

Cons:

Just learning Easy Worship 7 - pulling videos into Easy Worship 6 and previous versions was not always easy. Can't wait to try this version.

EW at The Hope

Pros:

Ease... Creativity...Ability to add personal media songs etc... Ability to use PowerPoint...Import

Low free Bible translations with paid subscription ... Sometimes when uploading this won't upload properly... Glitchy video output....

It works altogether

Comments: So far so good. At the church is definitely making an impact with day-to-day scheduling as well as flyers that were able to promote and the ability to do video announcements.

Pros:

Great backgrounds . Scripture database and easy tutorials

Cons:

The song database. A lot of the songs that already come with the software are truly outdated and not used in non-denominational contemporary worship places. It would have been nice to have a much more broader horizon with the songs

Easy Worship Review from Cornerstone Bible Church, Sedona, AZ

Pros:

Intuitive, easy to learn interface. Good integration with OBS via NDI stream. Good database of songs and scripture. Very affordable versus other alternatives.

Cons:

Seems to hang once in a while for unknown reasons. Have to re-boot to fix it.

Love EasyWorship

Comments: I love it and appreciate the flexibility.

Pros:

Once you get used to it, it is super easy to use and has been our only presentation and worship software for many years. Also, I love the integration with Song Select.

Cons:

I've had a few moments of frustration at times. Early on, setting up displays was confusing and cumbersome. Over time these things have improved dramatically.
