This can be overruled using ctrl, but it can still be annoying.

Cons:
There is nothing I didn’t like about the Microsoft Word program
Verstile products
Comments: Great product with many functions for a good price.
Pros:
What I like most is all the templates you can choose from depending on what you need. You can also put graphs, photos, hyperlinks and signature stamps in your documents. You you can also save the document in a pdf format.
Cons:
When you download a document and open it in a later version of Microsoft Word the document is misconstrued with the fonts, spacing and alignments.
Word review

Cons:
It was good, but its online version is not at all good or even near to Google Docs

Word: An Industry Pillar
Comments: Pleasant, easy, and very often. I use word to convert pdfs, to write knowledge base articles, to provide the formatting I will use to draft emails. There isn't a part of my professional life that word is not touching.
Pros:
If there's anything to take from Microsoft Word, it's remembering that it is the industry giant. In compatibility, usability, and reliability you won't find another product that even breaches the tip of the iceberg that Microsoft word does. There is little to say about word that isn't positive. It's cloud features, built in, are robust and reliable.
Cons:
There is an awareness, because of our digital age, that you need to have on macros. Word, like the other office products, may be at risk- putting you at risk. Be mindful. It isn't that word is inherently unsafe or dangerous, no more than your email is because a phishing link is clicked.
Microsoft Word - Tried and True
Comments: I have been using Microsoft Word for decades and through undergraduate and graduate school has been my primary tool. I have found it to be user-friendly, easy to learn and adapt to new features, and has always made it possible for me to create and manage documents as needed.
Pros:
It is user-friendly and has all the features that I need for creating, writing, and managing documents.
Cons:
I don't have many complaints about Microsoft Word. It has been a faithful friend.

Pros:
Its the one and only writting software i have ever used ,its easy to use, easy to learn, has a multitude of tools ,templates, fonts, wordcount and now with the introduction of Co pilot and other AI platforms, its unbelievable.
Cons:
its overall format and display needs an update, its windows 11 looks modern but Word looks very old fashioned ,id like to see some changes.
Honest review about Microsoft world in a data entry jobs.
Comments: Overall, still better than other apps in terms of data entry jobs.
Pros:
Microsoft world is a very useful apps in our account(BPO Company). It helps us enter the details of candidate's resume easily into our own system. Doing the copy-paste-ing in PDF is so troublesome because of their feature that will lead you to a website or detect a signed which will cause to open other unnecessary tools and the crazy part is there is no way to turn it off. Microsoft word making the job of data entry easier.
Cons:
Sometimes, I am experiencing lagging using this but it still manageable. Perhaps, I'm not sure if the problem is with the computer or the apps itself.
Nothing else on the level of Microsoft Word
Pros:
I exclusively use Microsoft Word for any document work. Its default setting make it quick and easy to use.
Cons:
Occasionally, I use unique formatting (not a standard text document) and it can be complicated to find the features I need.
Consistent timeless product
Pros:
ease of use, consistency of layout over the years
Cons:
clunky when adding photos or editing aesthetically
Microsoft word for beginner
Pros:
It has been easy to use, and it provides me with many customizable options. Additionally, it offers extensive file format support, allowing us to even edit our PDFs and so on.
Cons:
The least favorite thing I like about Microsoft Word is that it's really costly, and sometimes we can feel overwhelmed by all the features it provides us.
Alternatives Considered:
It keeps getting better each year!
Pros:
Power packed document editor - supported universally on all platforms Windows, Mac, iOS, Android etc. Easy to save as other formats like PDF. Easy to collaborate with team right through Office 365 tools and easy to secure the document with password and other restrictions as needed.
Cons:
When saving a document, it pushes the user to save to OneDrive instead of giving unbiased opinion to save to OneDrive or local computer folder.
There's a reason this one survived
Comments: I've used (and taught people to use) word processing programs for more than 30 years (anyone remember Word 6?), and produced everything from web pages to book-length documents using it. Over the years it has become a reliable and multi-featured product, but the "look and feel" are stable.
Pros:
While there are still good and popular options out there (Sheets and Google Docs), for education purposes Word is the standard: it's compatible with LMS systems, stable, has lots of features, and is convertable between applications and formats.
Cons:
Maybe a few too many features? I'm not a fan of its aggressive automation either, although I do still appreciate spell check. The real concern is cost, which is helping shift education systems to Google options.
Microsoft Word is the industry standard
Comments: I was resistant to converting from WordPerfect to Microsoft Word at my law firm. I was the first to try it before we converted the whole office.
Pros:
It is easy to learn and use. Most people use it so sharing documents is convenient.
Cons:
I’ve been using it for decades. Previously you bought Microsoft Suite. I don’t like that we pay yearly or monthly.

Top Notch Tools and Templates Create Endless Possibilities
Comments: I have used Microsoft Word in my day to day to journal, plan vacations, mark up my scripts (I am a professional voice actor), and create high quality written media with use of many of the tools provided in the program to ensure that what I am submitting is always top notch.
Pros:
I love Microsoft Word's multitude of templates and tools that help me create anything from a business itinerary to a book report.
Cons:
I would like it if my Microsoft Word license worked across all of my devices instead of only one for no additional fees.

Microsoft Word - A Timeless & Reliable Word Processor
Comments: My experience with Microsoft Word could be summed up just as well as many other users' experiences. It gets the job done and I haven't personally experienced any bugs or inconveniences with the writing processor.
Pros:
Microsoft Word continues to be a timeless and reliable writing processor. To this day, it continually receives updates to keep it current. There are some features on Microsoft Word that competitors don't, such a certain small formatting features. While not necessarily a dealbreaker, it's a convenience when those formatting features are needed.
Cons:
My primary gripe with Microsoft Word is that Microsoft now charges a subscription license to use its suite of applications. For this reason, I primarily use Google Docs for my business and digital marketing job, but still use Microsoft Word when needed. I thankfully still have free access to Microsoft Word under my university email.
Microsoft Word: A Perspective on Collaboration and Ease of Use
Comments: Overall, Microsoft Word is my preferred word-processing platform and has expedited my ability to collaborate with teammates, especially in governance-related matters.
Pros:
I like the revised features of Microsoft Word and its ability to be my central word-processing platform. The inclusion of Microsoft Word in the Office 365 space, adds a layer of collaboration and automation.
Cons:
There are times when Microsoft Word can be a bit buggy. For me, this traditionally occurs when formatting documents into a Word file. Using the paragraph feature can sometimes mitigate this, but there are times when you have to do additional troubleshooting which can be a time grab.
MS Word is the leading Word Processing app and familiar to most users.
Comments: As the company admin, MS Word is often the most familiar application for users. It's been around forever and most users have some familiarity from previous employment or school. Getting users to work with it in cloud form is not a difficult transition.
Pros:
Whether or not you are a Microsoft user, Word is a necessity for word processing. It is universally recognized as the industry standard. I have used MS Word for over 30 years and it continues to improve.
Cons:
I have no complaints about Word. It continues to get better.
Definitely a valued program
Comments: My overall experience with this product is positive. I use it every day. Some features could make it even better, but for documents, it is definitely the go-to standard.
Pros:
Ease of use and its integration with other programs
Cons:
It would be awesome to see more grammar correction features similar to Grammarly.
Familiar and Useful Application
Comments: Microsoft word is a familiar application to most people. It is very useful to write reports, compile lists, create documents, and fix documents. The auto correction is helpful when working on documents that needed to be done fast.
Pros:
The easy usage that is both familiar and usefulness
Cons:
Time New Roman or Arial Font should be the default font instead of Calibri.
Big ups to Microsoft Word
Comments: Overall I'd say Microsoft Word is a great program. Its also a good tool to teach your six year old how to type.
Pros:
The font features. Great for typing. Header ad Footer feature is a addition to documents.
Cons:
Having to create/draw my own table is a nightmare, and when using online Word, the auto correct would change from the correct word to an incorrect one.
Best Word Proccessor
Comments: It's the best word processor program. Unlike Adobe PDF, it is compatible with a lot of other software and recognized world wide; thus it makes it easy to communicate with individuals overseas.
Pros:
User friendly. Allows you choose your fonts. Autocorrect spell check and grammar. Allows you to create professional looking docs. Easy to insert graphics.
Cons:
Not easily compatible with PDF docs. Sometimes when inserting images, it might be tricky to manipulate the exact placement.

A writer's best friend
Pros:
Microsoft Word stands out as an indispensable asset for document management and composition. The Dictation function is particularly noteworthy, offering a convenient alternative to typing by converting speech to text, thus facilitating a more efficient workflow. Furthermore, the Quick Parts feature is a significant time-saver, enabling the quick insertion of pre-saved text into new documents. These features underscore Microsoft Word’s utility as a sophisticated and user-friendly tool for a wide range of writing applications.
Cons:
While there’s not much to dislike about Microsoft Word, if I had to pick something, it would be that sometimes it has more features than one might need for simple tasks. But overall, it’s a comprehensive tool that I find quite likable and useful.
Spread the Word about Microsoft Word
Comments: Microsoft Word is one of my favorite software to use when it comes to the document writing with some improvements on what you can add to it. It gives volume to the document and makes it more vibrant as compared to earlier version of the software.
Pros:
Microsoft Word is one of the best software for writing documents with ease. I have been using Microsoft Word for more than 20 years now and I can see the development of the software over the years.
Cons:
The thing that I like the least about Microsoft Word is the insertion of images and how it wraps with the written document. The selection are a bit confusing at times so you are required to do trial and error to get your desired results.

Great Document Product
Pros:
I like there are so many possibilities with Word. It much more than just a program to type up a document. We've used it for automatically pulling in data from a database with merge fields and it saves a lot of time.
Cons:
It has it's bugs sometimes just like any other program. The most trouble I've had with it is the normal.dotm getting messed up sometimes.
Will never use anything else
Comments: Overall, I would never use anything else. Beside all the different documents you can create with Word, I really like the integration with One Drive so I can access my documents anywhere. Using Word is so easy and useful in my personal and professional life.
Pros:
I enjoy using Microsoft Word because of the all the different documents that you can create. Letters, resumes, essays, newsletters, cards, etc. The list goes on and on.
Cons:
I have a love/hate relationship with the autosave feature. Sometimes I am so thankful and then when I open a document to use as a template and make changes, it autosaves when I should have saved a copy first. Overall, that is a user error and not a Microsoft issue.
