About The Newspaper Manager
The Newspaper Manager is a publishing software that unifies sales, production, billing, email marketing, and more.
Newspaper Manager is very easy to use for scheduling ads running in our newspaper. Being that it is an online software, I can schedule ads from anywhere that has internet access.
It caused for a scheduling disaster on our part, but we were able to find the problems and fix them before it went too terribly wrong.

Highly recommend using Newspaper manager for your sales needs
Comments: I have been using the product for several months and have been able to quickly and efficiently get my tasks done. Mostly use for email campaigns and driving sales leads
Pros:
Makes running marketing/back end sales tasks super easy and was an extremely easy platform to learn. Also the support team is very quick and responsive if I ever need assistance.
Cons:
Only small issue I have is wish we could merge accounts with past orders myself but not a huge issue having to send those over for merger

Newspaper Manager Review
Comments: My overall experience has been good with Newspaper Manager. I am able to keep track of all of my accounts, meetings, calls and goal tracking fairly seamlessly.
Pros:
I love all of the reporting functionalities in Newspaper Manager and the automation reminders the system provides when contracts are about to expire.
Cons:
I would like for the digital flat plan to be a bit more user friendly/intuitive and laid out more aesthetically.
Great experience all around!
Comments: I think it's gone pretty smooth other than not realizing why my invoices were ending up in spam until a few months later. As soon as I mentioned it, the problem was identified and I am just waiting on my internal team to create the solution needed to fix it.
Pros:
Easy to use once you've been through some training. My rep is very accessible and always jumps in if I can't find what I'm I'm looking for under the many HELP videos.
Cons:
Nothing really -- we have to get the marketing program to do some of the features I would like to use and we are looking at that. Most of my "not likes" are because I am in sales and am the only one using all features (creating products, changing products, invoicing etc).

Comments: My overall experience has been wonderful. We will keep using this program and suggest it to other professionals in my field.
Pros:
I like how effective the program is, how quickly you can access reports, and of course how readily my representative, [sensitive content hidden], is available to assist me when I need it.
Cons:
If someone reached out to conduct training on the updates and made the program's updates easier to understand, I think it would be even better.

Ease of Use and Comprehensive
Comments: It's a great tool but you need to put in the time to utilize all the functionality.
Pros:
Dashboard is great, easy to use and learn.
Cons:
More flexibility in proposals/orders. Copy from previous year and the capability to make changes as needed

Comments: I have looked at numerous programs, create my own, and none work as well or as easily as Newspaper Manager.
Pros:
With CRM it is very important that all of your information is in one place and easily accessible. Newspaper Manager does just that!
Cons:
It is a different way of thinking, but once you get it it is very easy to use.

Sales Executive Review
Pros:
I love that I can see all of my client's current campaigns and past history so that I know what to sell them and when. It helps me keep track of all of my clients and tasks so that I can be successful in my sales endeavors year round.
Cons:
Starting with Newspaper Manager can be slightly daunting at first, as there are so many helpful tools within it! However, once you get used to it, you find you can't work without it!

The Software is the bomb
Comments: Great! I see that I need to learn some of the other assets on this platform
Pros:
Keeps me organized, I can put in notes, calls, meetings - reminds me daily of my tasks.
Cons:
CRM's are a struggle for any sales rep, we want to sell! So there is a lot of time spent in the system

Comments: Good communication with the support staff and great training videos. It has multiple functions to manage workflows for different departments.
Pros:
The reporting suite for sales management data.
Cons:
Our representatives have been responsive and timely with fixing any bugs, errors, or feedback we have.

Newspaper Manager -The Future of Sales and Service Tools for Newspapers
Comments: My overall experience has been positive. The system is easy to learn and move around in. I like the service updates and the fact that you have training when new items are introduced. I also like that you can go into the archives and learn about various subjects.
Pros:
I like that Newspaper Manager maintains an accurate database of customers. I like that it has a built in system to allow you to see your real time sales and progress results. I like the ease of applying payments to customers accounts and that you have a prompt to send a payment receipt direct to your customers email. I also like the built in search function.
Cons:
I would like to see the statement presented in a way that I can more accurately trace charges and payments. Sometimes it can be confusing. I am not sure how to retrieve a payment receipt once it has been generated in the system. This is minor

Great customer service along with
Pros:
I like the ability to quickly search, and I use the advanced search feature as well. It's nice when the system recognizes if there is a possibility of a duplicate, it's a good back up. I also enjoy how easy it is to make templates and send multiple emails at once. The customer service is really nice and the tutorials and help section of the website is also very helpful.
Cons:
I am having issues getting my Gmail to sync with NM, other than that, it is working out okay.

Newspaper Manager
Pros:
Newspaper manager has made my job much more streamlined. While it's added some workload that wasn't there before, it makes it much easier for me to track and ensure that my orders are correct. The capability of making notations on accounts within the CRM rather than having to use separate resources is great! The streamlining of several functions into one software is my favorite part.
Cons:
There isn't much that I specifically don't like about newspaper manager. Most of my difficulties come with being very new to marketing in general and finding the time to learn and utilize ALL of Newspaper Managers capabilities. I look forward to continuing to learn more about the software and utilizing more and more of it. At this time I utilize, what I believe to be the very basics of the program.

Pros:
The program is easy to use and for the items that are more difficult, the help section videos and articles provide all the information needed. There is so much functionality in the system, and I'm looking forward to using even more features soon!
Cons:
There are so many features, and I wasn't part of the initial deployment, so it is taking me a little while to learn everything. But that is not necessarily a complaint about the program itself, more so just how quickly a user can get up to speed.

easy to go in and see what the client did in the past and to keep them updated if they have a special liking to what we are doing.

Newspaper Manager is so easy to use
Comments: Very good experience with everything I use in my daily routine.
Pros:
We love Newspaper Manager. It helps us be efficient at our sales and keep notes for anyone who comes behind us to know where the account stands.

Permissions have to be allowed for everyone to use the software.

Simple and Intuative
Comments: I moved from another very complicated CRM and this is significantly easier to use. I've very quickly been able to learn how to use it and use it every day.
Pros:
This is an easy system to learn to use and if I need help I can easily find the answer I'm looking for.
Cons:
I don't always have all of the contact information. I wish you could skip some things if other contacts are filled out.

Is it worth it for a small company?
Pros:
Being a smaller company with limited personnel, The Newspaper Manager software is an invaluable resource. As an advertising director who also sells, this software makes my life much easier.
Cons:
The learning curve was a bit steep for someone like me who didn't have any experience with this type of software. However, once it was implemented and I learned the system, I find it fairly intuitive. And if I have a question or concern, help is at my fingertips with an expansive help page. If I can't find my answer there, a real person is only a chat or email away!

Great Service from Newspaper Manager
Comments: We are happy with the experience that we have had with Newspaper Manager - the customer service is over the top. You ask a question, they get right back to you with the answer and how to input it.
Pros:
Sales and Graphics like the ease of writing the proposals, contracts.
Cons:
While the ease of emailing invoices to customers, some customers cannot open the emails from Newspaper Manager.

Comments: It has been a great introduction for me to CRM. This is my first time working with CRM and I think Mirabel Technologies has great features to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Pros:
I really appreciate how easy it is to navigate. I can always find the information I need plus some. I really like the option to do a split screen when making calls so I have all my notes right in front of me to guide the call. It is a great way to have success with my calls.
Cons:
I wish there was an option to schedule a follow up email to someone like there is the option to schedule a follow up call. Some of my clients are best reached via email so I would like to have the ability to add a follow up email to my dashboard like I can do with calls. The dashboard keeps me organized and helps me to remember all the follow ups I need to do.

I like to be organized - I think it's one of the most important things that makes sales professionals more successful. In my role, I'm focused on prospecting and new business so Magazine Manager keeps all the contact information and correspondence at my fingertips.
Cons:
I would like all of the contacts listed under 1 company instead of assigning each person an individual number.

Newspaper Manager is the best scheduling software I've used!
Comments: The major benefit that Newspaper Manager is providing our company is that our sales reps now have complete access to the accounts they manage. Some factors, like scheduling, are a little confusing to them, but I appreciate that we can all make use of the site at the same time.
Pros:
I love the way Newspaper Manager is set up for scheduling ads for our newspaper. The website is easy to use and I love the layout of how to schedule materials in our newspaper. I also appreciate the fact that our sales reps can make great use of the system and are able to locate information on their own, as the previous software we used, they were not able to access it.
Cons:
While it is awesome that this scheduling system is web based, we did have a major issue when the site crashed a couple of weeks ago. It caused for a scheduling disaster on our part, but we were able to find the problems and fix them before it went too terribly wrong. I also wish there was a way to communicate within the system without having to leave notes. A chat system would be an amazing addition.

Very easy to use
Pros:
Newspaper Manager is very easy to use for scheduling ads running in our newspaper. Being that it is an online software, I can schedule ads from anywhere that has internet access. The best part of the software for me is the flexibility of assigning ad numbers. Each graphic designer at our newspaper adds their own initials at the end of the ad numbers so that production can easily see who is responsible for that particular ad. Love it!
Cons:
The only problem I had with the software is when one of their host servers at Amazon went down on a deadline day. They assured us that this rarely happens, but it did cause some inconvenience on that particular day.
